Although, if you have D1, you can visit him in the Tower, replay that mission in the Taken King DLC just to hear his sweet and lovely voice. He maybe dead in D2 (except the Red War campaign) but at least he’s alive in D1.

     Cole likes boats. He’s only been out to sea a few times, but he likes the way the water waves. How it whispers one moment and roars the next. The docks bustle with people. Some in need, some not, some who may need help later but not now. He can see them all from his perch on the side railing of one particular ship docked in the bay. The crew won’t see him, he knows that.

Well...this was weird. Most people got nervous of them and tried to avoid coming close to them - and here was some girl coming over and wanting to feel secure with them. It wasn’t really part of their whole ‘gig’ but if he didn’t have to do anything then Lance couldn’t really say no. “Sure.
