6.Hiding something behind their back (flowers, a gift, etc.)

“Okay listen, one thing you should know about me is that autumn is like my season. Or specifically October through the middle of November. You should’ve known when you volunteered to go shopping with me I’d try to buy the whole store,” Jared joked. “But if it helps, I’ll compensate your suffering with food,” he offered, shifting his weight to the other foot.

Jared was at his favorite coffee shop, leisurely taking in the atmosphere as he sipped his chai latte. He couldn’t help glancing over at the person in the corner from time to time. Something about them was familiar like he knew them. When the person got up to leave he approached them. “Hi, sorry I was nearly gawking at you the whole time, but you seem familiar. Do I look familiar to you? Sorry, again. I’m probably being weird.”

Jared was happy. He had all he needed in this moment: his princess and ingredients for baking treats. Music was on and Lilo was dancing and helping him with the baking. “So I know typically gingerbread ornaments aren’t supposed to be edible, but we don’t have a giant tree to put it on and gingerbread cookies are amazing. Can you do me a favor Beautiful and taste it? See if there’s anything it may need more of? I want them to be edible and decoration-worthy,” he smiled at her.

Jared chuckled before assessing the situation Dax caused. Water was all over the floor. “I just have one question. How in the hell did this happen?”
