Lord (Prince) Sturm Von Zarovitch

Born 312- Died 382

Sturm Von Zarovitch was the second child of Barov Von Zarovitch and Ravenia Von Royen. He has two elder brothers, Strahd who is six years his senior, and Rahadin who is his father's adopted child, a dusk elf of unknown age. He also has a younger brother Sergi, who was born when Sturm was 12.

The Von Zarovitch's believed themselves to be lucky to have three biological sons, and raised them with the expectations that Strahd would be a military leader and conquer new territory, Sturm would be a politician and the king in their homeland, and Sergi would be raised to one day become the head of the Barovian church.

Things got... complicated. Barov and Ravenia were killed in a war. Strahd invited the family to stay with him, but only Sergi managed to make the trip, where he met the love of his life Tatyana and assumed his role in the church because of a series of sudden deaths, despite perhaps not having finished his training. Eventually this led to Sergi and Tatyana's wedding, as well as Strahd's transformation, which turned out to be a slaughter that Sturm narrowly avoided by being unavailable.

“H-Hey, Midoriya? Is this guy gonna replace us??”

“Replaced? No? I don’t think so, why do you ask Mineta kun?” 

“BUT MIDORIYA!!! WE’VE BEEN MISSING IN ACTION FOR WEEKS!!! NOW THE MUN WANTS TO GET A NEW MUSE!??! B-B-BUT WHAT IF THAT MEANS ONE OF US IS GETTING THE BOOT!?!? I-I-I DON’T WANT THE BOOT!!! TUMBLR WON’T ALLOW ME ANYWHERE ELSE MIDORYA!!!

I CAN’T GO BACK TO GBJ MIDORIYA!!!!!”

“Err...I don’t know what that is...? Look Mineta, we’ll be fine. Our new muse should be arriving shortly.”

“Oh wow. What an intro! My name is Satou Kazuma! I hope to get along with everyone!”

“Alright, I know this guy won’t replace me!”

Keres Whitlock

Keres is adapted from DnD so-

Keres is a human cleric- that is, she's a human woman who's... favored? Favored. by a goddess of the sea. Only one problem. She's not at all interested in being an object of interest for that goddess.

Keres was born at sea. Besides that, she doesn't know much. There was a hurricane and the ship sunk, taking everyone on board down with it- except her, somehow. An infant with hair the color of the deepest darkest ocean and eyes like the stormy sky washed up on the beach, only a few days old. She was taken in by the noble Whitlock family as a ward and spent her life on the coastal cliffs watching the waves and the ships wreck.

All her life she dreamed of storms and of drowning, and of a woman underwater who wanted things from her. It didn't take much beyond the first few times she accidentally used a tempest spell to tell her that was Umbreelee, the evil goddess of the sea and storms that the storm priests worshiped and demanded tribute for. She hated her. Hated them. But she couldn't control the powers.

Her life with the Whitlocks was not horrible, but it was not kind. She was never part of the family, only an example of their kindness. She was always aware of their social position and expectations and her precarious position in the world. She is hyperaware of duty and propriety because she tries to be above suspicion and reproach. It doesn't always work.

Also I’m trying to write a character who’s informed by Judism and I’m not quite sure how to make sure I’m doing that well so I’m very open to criticism.

Tzofyia is the latest in a long line of cursed prophets. For as long as history has been recorded the Simons have been powerful seers, servants of righteous kings and willing fonts of knowledge for those who would seek it with good intentions. However a thousand years ago they found themselves on the wrong side of a witch and she levied a curse against their bloodline. No longer would they be able to speak their visions in their own time or as they chose, they would forever be at the mercy of anyone who knew the spell- a spell that we know translates to something like “mirror mirror”.

When news got out, the family quickly became targets. Some waned to control or enslave them. Some wanted to eliminate them. Overnight the family that was once powerful and respected was decimated and forced underground to protect themselves.
