@warlord-prime
How the hell had they not seen Optimus?
Of the factions that divided the face of Cybertron, the Autobots were some of the most powerful, and thus, could afford to protect regularly scheduled and consistently routed supply caravans, rather than resorting to randomization to throw off their competitors.
Flash wasn’t stupid enough to steal from every caravan; that would be too predictable, put a target on their back. They instead snagged just enough now and again to keep themselves online. Got away every time. This evening shouldn’t have been any different.
The warlord clearly had other plans.
Fuckfuckfuckfuck. Flash tore down the labyrinthine, crumbling streets of Nyon, squealing around corners and dodging through broken buildings. Anything to throw Optimus off their tail. It wasn’t exactly panning out; the fucker, for all his size, was fast, and barrelled through just about anything Flash put between them.
They zipped down a side street--one they strangely haven’t seen before, for all their years roaming this area--and transformed, propelling themselves into a rubble-choked tunnel network to try to break away.
