2, 45, 46, and 50 for the oc asks! either or both ocs! I would love to get to know them
I'll answer for both of them because these are very fun and I would love to yap about them.
I'll add a lightning speed introduction for those not familiar with these two (basically everyone) Pluto is an experimental construct whose anatomy is currently closest to a CombatSecUnit's. It has been a rogue pretty much all its life. Minerva is its handler and lifelong companion. She is an heavily augmented human who works as a double agent for PSUMNT. She is the mastermind behind a plan to radically reform if not completely destroy the system behind the Corporation Rim. Which sounds slightly insane but it makes sense in context
2 If someone says this is character name coded what comes to your mind.
Minerva: black turtlenecks. All those scenes in Sci Fi where an android/cyborg is getting their mechanic parts repaired by someone who is taking the utmost care. Ironically enough, Athena's domains. Icarus by Bastille. Ethical hacking and shutting down stuff as a form of rebellion. Also cheetahs, for reasons I am not sharing
Pluto: elegant flowy clothes in pastel or jewel tones. Birds of paradise, peacocks and bower birds. Pluto as in the Roman god in the sense of being hated and feared for something that's not even true, Pluto as in the dwarf planet in the sense that it was one thing then it got reclassified as something else and then people either acted like it was irrelevant/less than before or demanded that it be classified as the old thing but very few people entertained the idea of it being the new thing and still being worthy of acknowledgedment and love. The creature from the 2025 Frankenstein. Pitt bulls and Rottweilers. And because I put a song for Minerva the songs Body and It's alright from Mother Mother.
45 What is their fatal flaw
Minerva: A crippling fear of death that she remedies by refusing to acknowledge her own mortality until it grabs her by the neck. That and a general allergy to being vulnerable.
46 To what extent does shame or guilt influence their psyche
Pluto: he feels guilt for having killed people both as a hired assasin and as a combatant in more overt corporate warfare. But it's nowhere as bad as it could be. Minerva trys very hard to reasure him about those deaths not being his fault and she is pretty successful at it.
Minerva: To give a short answer? Yes.
50 If faced with a magical mirror revealing their deepest fear and greatest desire instead of their reflection, what would they see and would they be surprised by it?
Deepest fear: She would see a world where her plan failed, the non corporate polities who supported it are destroyed and their citizens are divided up between the vultures of the CR like so much dead meat, every person she ever cared about is dead as a consequence of trying to help her plan and she is withering away in some corporate hedquarter as her CEOS lapdog that's paraded around every once in a while as a hero for destabilizing "dangerous anti-corporate actors".
Greatest desire: it sounds so mundane compared to her fear but it's just her as an old lady sitting in a garden full of flowers with Pluto by their house and they got to live a long and happy life together.
She would not be surprised by the fear portion of it, the desire part she tries not to think about it too hard because she knows she can't get it so having it laid out so simply would definitely stun her.
I can't answer for Pluto because it's spoiler territory
