15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.) 20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter? looks you dead straight in the fucking eyes /ref. you knew exactly what i was gonna say to BOTH of these questions before even sending this ask, i'm sure...... anyways Obviously i think about gyro and della 24/7. i think especially about them being Friends. i think that it's important for gyro to have someone he sees as a friend (they fight plenty but if someone pushed him to name a single friend he has he'd say della) because. truly i think it's important for everyone's development to have weird emotionally confusing friend-related sideplots in their life. and at least from what we see of gyro in the show he has no fucking social life lmao. nearly all of his dynamics with other adults on the show are related to his work!!! i think he should get to lay awake at night pretending not to worry about whether or not della actually likes hanging out with him that much because she's his only friend but he's not her only friend like some kind of tortured middle schooler from della's end i like to think she doesn't think too hard about what she has with him until donald or someone refers to gyro as her friend casually and she's like Oh. oh. i guess we're friends huh. because she considers it and realizes that ultimately even if she didn't wanna call it that, their interactions still have the same net impact as a friendship. she seeks him out intentionally because she ultimately likes spending her time arguing with him. she likes challenging him and vice versa. yk

honorary mentions for gyro ships i really like: fenro and gladgear <3 both on wildly different ends of the canon interactions spectrum. fenro is pretty self-explanatory but gladgear is fun to me in a "you're such a fucking anomaly i want (to study) you" kinda way lol

Ok so what had happened was

I <3 doing character design and I love drawing human muppets + I rewatched the Muppet Movie and remembered how much I like dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem

I have free liscene to make all of them as queer as i want because

to quote myself from yesterday- FUCK that random boy doing weed i want to see brainy smurf and simon the chipmunk interact. i dont care that this human is doing drugs, would the smurfs, after their time travel thing and seeing a ton of azrael ancestors, and now in the future, think that garfield is a descendant of azrael?

why do the people making it think garfield knows what marijuana is? jon arbuckle is a country boy and a narc. i doubt the smurfs know what drugs are because they’re from medieval times when the concept of “illegal drugs” wasn’t really a thing. alf is an alien, so he wouldn’t know either. and the version of kermit in the special is a little boy, just a little tadpole who probably just got his legs, so he probably doesn’t know what drugs are either. slimer is a ghost and i dont know ghostbusters but he doesn’t seem that intelligent so he might not know. and winnie the pooh is a stuffed toy whose consciousness was thought up by a child iirc, so why would he know about drugs? i want the chipmunks, who are the only members of the beginning group who live in a situation where they might know about this stuff, to have to explain to everyone else what drugs, and specifically marijuana, are.
