Now you may be thinking, surely kermit would be louis? But oh no, Gonzo, the soft hearted yet brave stunt man, is a much better fit for Louis du won't drink from humans pont de lac. while kermit, controlling head of a theatre, sometimes bitter ex of miss piggy, is a much better fit for armand. Miss Piggy as Lestat is obvious- brat prince blonde diva queen that she is. Claudia was a difficult choice, as none of the main muppets really fit her character. Santiago as fozzie just makes alot of sense.

Basically who would I cast each Muppet as in a hypothetical Muppets production of the musical Other Girls (what is other girls? see above video)

Lillly MacPherson-Hess - Miss Piggy this isn't just because miss piggy is the most iconic female muppet/the muppet in pink but bc miss piggy would be able to embody all the cattiness and quiet rage lillly displays. also yeah i know miss piggy is kind of known for romance and lillly is aromantic but y'know she has the range she could do it trust me. miss piggy is the most performative muppet and literally everything about lillly is super performative

Hunter St. James - Fozzie Bear but jessamine! what about kermit? he's miss piggy's other half and also the most iconic green muppet! yes i know. however. kermit is the voice of reason in the muppet show and while hunter does display very much emotional intelligence and holds the group together, fozzie bear is far more able to embody the many silly goose moments of hunter street james. plus kermit would be the one trying to reign miss piggy in most of the time, while i can absolutely see miss piggy and fozzie getting on each others' nerves as much as hunter and lillly do in the beginning while still making a great pair.

Juniper Gould - Gonzo i think this is probably the most confident i am in any of my muppet castings. i mean just look at them. perpetually anxious yet somehow one of the most daring characters, very confused about their place in the group, gender-whatever swag. as much as i wanted gonzo to be aubrey bc purple and nonbinary-coded, let's face the facts juno is DEFINITELY the gonzo of the group

Aubrey Aubergine - I honestly don't know??? guys help me out here i can't come up with a muppet for aubrey even tho i know ze's definitely not a human performer. rn my ideas are animal (full of energy, musician, also kinda gender ambiguous) or rizzo the rat (weirdo icon, gets paired up with gonzo quite a bit). my producer votes rizzo the rat but i feel like there must be a better muppet for aubrey to be.

Iris - Human Performer iris is NOT a muppet. this is done in order to make iris feel more immediately out-of-place and also so that the whole lillly/iris scene at the end is "man or muppet" from the muppets (2011).

The Weird Girl Club - Fraggle Rock I would cast Cady/Dinosaur Facts individually but just in general every member of the weird girl club is a fraggle, you can decide which one. when the characters go into the basement of cvs harmacy they go down that tunnel from the opening of the fraggle rock theme song and then there's hundreds of fraggles staring at them.

Specs - Scooter glasses

Grace - Annie Sue lesser known female muppet who miss piggy has a one-sided rivalry with, just generally very sweet if a little ditsy

Mateo - Human Performer mateo is the second human performer cameo in muppet other girls just bc of the comedy that comes from this very down-to-earth gay dude having a bunch of muppets show up in his gift shop and then decide to go out with fozzie bear

well, you see dear reader - muppets other girls would be a show within a show, as so many muppet productions are. unlike the actual version of other girls, some of our behind the scenes crew would be featured as characters, including my producer stephanie as kermit (trying to hold the show together) and me as walter from the muppets 2011 (earnestly excited kid putting on a show for the first time). i would list more but y'all don't know them
