First of all, while work is common topic of conversation and it’s often very interesting to hear what people study or do for a living, it is entirely possible to having a conversation with another human being without knowing what their job is.

There are a lot of really shitty reasons for a person not to be working, and maybe they don’t want to talk about it right now, and maybe dealing with a list of questions about why they aren’t working is just going to make them feel worse and push them to tell you something they didn’t want to talk about in the first place.

If you’re in a situation where you’re talking to someone you don’t know that well, and you ask them where they work or what they do, and they tell you they’re not working or not working working right now and then just don’t elaborate, say, “okay” and keep going with the conversation.

1. BASICS

TAKEN OR SINGLE:        Married THREE FACTS:  1 ) I’m 32. I just feel like people should know that because it’s kinda older for the average tumblr Rper 2 ) My cat is an evil twin of another cat whose location is unknown. I met the good twin along with my cat Bea, and I knew Bea is the evil one because she has a crooked tail and she’s a jerk. 3 ) I want a pet python but no one else in my life thinks that’s a good idea. 4) Shameless cheating: I have another blog @mariafullofwrath check it out.

2. EXPERIENCE

HOW LONG   (  MONTHS / YEARS ?  ):     I actually can’t remember. More than five years, less than eight? 14 months for Tumblr in particular. PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED: World of Warcraft (no longer), Twitter (no longer), World of Darkness tabletop games, Tumblr (obviously), Skype rarely by request, I prefer to use it for OOC chat and plotting. 
BEST EXPERIENCE: Lots. Having adventures. Watching my characters develop and other characters develop. Having threads go in totally unexpected directions. The energy I get from working with another creative person. Getting to know some muns in person and having them become dear friends

3. MUSE  PREFERENCES

FEMALE OR MALE: I want to not have a preference because it’s not all about shipping and my main muse is pansexual. I’d actually really like to find a girlfriend for her someday it would help me grow as a writer. I think my own preference sneaks through because I have to admit to myself I RP with mostly male muses. That doesn’t mean female muses shouldn’t start threads with me though! First of all, shipping isn’t everything. A really good brotp is like the best thing ever.  Also, girlfriend on the wishlist. I don’t actually have a wishlist. Should I make a wishlist? MULTI OR SINGLE: In a blog or in a thread? I’m down with both either way. I have no problem with multi-muse blogs. I have one single muse blog and one multi-muse blog. Threads with more than two characters are challenging but fun. I’ve had moments of writing a mun like “don’t reply yet I’m replying again with my character from my other blog.” Did I answer this question at all correctly?

4.  WRITING  PREFERENCES

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: Not enough choices. Adventures! I actually love writing fight scenes. Certain angst I love and certain I don’t. I like heartwrenching angst. I’m wary of toxic ships and yet want to try writing one, I’ve written some really fun arguments but then it’s hard to continue the thread when the characters don’t get along. I want to write everything. Somedays I have more muse for one genre or another. Fluff is a weakness of mine. I want to write it but I’m bad at it. I’m working on it. Smut I’ll write anything from fade to black to full on graphic smut. I think there’s a talent to writing either. PLOTS OR MEMES: Both, but plots. Plots that start with memes. I like to kind of wing it to start to see how my muse interacts with a new muse and then later on start plotting a little beforehand. I like long threads, or lots of smaller threads on the same timeline. Like obviously threads with different muses are AUs but with a single particular muse I like to write a long story more than a ton of AUs, although AUs are fun too, I have some people I write with like five different AUs of Cat with. I feel like my replies are very rambling and indecisive right now. LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: By default I would say medium para? Preference for short to long para. Can someone explain how long novella is? An actual novella is like 70 pages I don’t understand. Dialogue and just a few lines are a weakness of mine but I’m working on it. I’m wordy as hell. Sometimes my muses are wordier than I am. BEST TIME TO WRITE: Varies. GMT -5/EST if that helps. 
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): Oh that’s complicated. Like, writing is like myself and other people in my life and my life and also stories I’ve heard and other media I’ve consumed, books, movies, games, all in a blender with some original ideas. But that’s getting like philosophical. I think each of my muses has little parts of me, and also little things that I wish I had. Cat and Maria are both a desire for strength. Cat’s also a desire for being carefree and spontaneous. April/Vakna is a desire for compassion and to be compassionate to other people.
