Mun Heejun, who was a member of H.O.T. which is potentially the original “boyband” of Korea, has expressed his thankful heart for Jaejoong several times on air. The two instances on radio were recently shared on a Korean online bulletin. We share them here:

On the Armed Forces Radio Program, December 21, 2006

Heejun: Jaejoong, I just really miss him so much…

MC: Yes… really..

Heejun: I really just miss him… After I joined the armed forces, when there was a vacation for the 100th day in and such thing, he called me, every time without fail… He knows the dates…. He somehow researched to find out the dates ahead of time.

MC: Seriously kindhearted… He was tremendously kindhearted… Has a handsome face as well…

Heejun: He calls me to check on my well-being: “Have you come out for your 100th-day-in vacation… How do you feel physically?” He is seriously someone who is great.

Heejun: Now that I see it, “Hero Jaejoong” has 4 circles in “Hero” and so it is very cute. (T/N: Hero Jaejoong is written 영웅재중 in Korean. “Hero” is “영웅.” Can you spot the four circles?)

MC: Oh… was it perhaps on purpose?

Heejun: Hero Jaejoong.. Hero Jaejoong… Yes… the name is cute…

MC: I guess you went on like that…

Heejun: Ah…. I miss Jaejoong…. Once every while…

MC: Ah… Like that… you long for him….

Heejun: As for why… When I joined the armed forces…? When I joined the armed forces… of course, I have cute hoobaes (T/N: juniors in the industry), a few of them, most of them are in boy bands. And the people who do the kind of music that I do are all sunbae-nims (T/N: seniors in the industry) so I contacted them first….

MC: Ah… I see.

Heejun: When I joined the armed forces… but among the hoobaes, he was the only one among them to call me on that day, despite being busy… Since he did that, I cannot help but think of him. Really….

MC: Kyah…. That is so, isn’t it…!
