Had a dream where Mumbo made a video after a small break to focus on family/life stuff and he had one of his irl segments he does but this time, he had a wavy fade mullet and he looked SO good the reactions were absolutely feral. i was thinking about shapeshifter mumbo and i realized that he sounds a lot like a fleshgait. if you don’t know what a fleshgait is it’s basically something the internet created that mixes a bunch of existing folklore. i feel like the most consistent thing about them is that whatever they eat they can turn into (and they lure people into the woods by mimicking noises they hear but i don’t think he does that)
we see him turn into food, a pig, and finally a human when he consumes grian’s soul. does that mean mumbo either takes people’s souls or eats people to stay human?
