“How was my sweet girl’s day?” You smile as you feel Eddie’s arms wrap around your waist from behind as you look out the window above the sink in the kitchen. “Did you do anything fun?” He asks as he rests his chin on your shoulder.

“Not really, no.” Eddie raises an eyebrow as he hears how shaky your voice is, he knows something is bothering you but he doesn’t want to pressure you into telling him so he just hums in response before giving the side of your neck a little kiss.

“Well it’s not too late to change that.” He smiles as you turn around in his arms so you can face him and that’s when he knows for sure that’s something is off with you because your smile isn’t as happy as it usually is and you won’t look him in the eyes, instead you opt to look over his shoulder. “What’s wrong sweetheart?” You lean into Eddie’s touch as he brings one of us hands up to cup the side of your face. “What’s going on in that head of yours hmmm?” You feel your heart start to beat faster as you look him in the eyes, he gives you a reassuring smile as his thumb runs across your cheek.

“I was just thinking about something.” Your voice is mumbled as you look down at your feet something Eddie knows you do when you’re nervous.

“Oh yeah? What’s my girl been thinking about?” Eddie moves his hand that’s cupping your face so he can tilt your chin up with his thumb so you’re looking at him. “You can tell me anything you know that right?” You just nod your head, you know you can tell him anything and he wouldn’t ever judge you or make you feel like it was silly but this was something the two of you hadn’t talked about so the nerves were winning.

“I want to have a baby.” You whisper but you know Eddie hears you by the way his eyes go wide and his hand drops from your face. “I know we haven’t talked about it. I’m sorry I shouldn’t have brought it up.” You turn to look away from him but Eddie is quick and brings you into his chest as he wraps his arms around your shoulders.

“You don’t ever have to apologize for telling me what you want sweetheart.” You wrap your arms around his middle as he nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck. “You really want to have a baby?” You feel him smile against your skin as you just nod your head. “Want to hear you say it sweet girl.” You feel his hold on you tighten making you smile as you rest your head on his chest as he lifts his head and stands up straight pulling you in closer.

Hii lovey!! The idea of Eddie freaking out because she’s upset with him idk why makes me like happy?😂🙈 I tweaked it a bit but anywhoooo enjoy!🥹

“I don’t want you staying with me tonight.” Eddie would raise an eyebrow at the harsh tone, his usually happy and bubbly, wife used as she spoke to him while she crossed her arms over her chest as she sat on one of the chairs she had on her front porch.

“What’s wrong sweetheart?” He’d take a step towards her as she looked down at her hands in her lap. He’d take advantage of her not looking at him and take a few more steps towards her so he could place his jacket on the wooden railing that went around her whole front porch.

“You hurt my feelings.” Her sad tone would make Eddie’s heart drop, he’d look at her as she lifted her head so she was looking right into his eyes. “Steve told me you think I act like a baby.” Eddie would have to fight the urge to drive over to Harrington’s house and strangle him for making her upset, specifically making her upset at him.

“Oh my sweet girl,” She’d sniffle and look away from him as she quickly wiped at her cheeks. Eddie would take one final step so he was now standing right in front of her. “I’m sorry he told you that baby.” He’d say in hopes it would make her look at him as he got down so he was on his knees in front of her. “Will you look at me please?” He’d plead making her let out a sad sigh as she turned her head so he could look at her, the sight almost made his heart want to break as her saw her puffy eyes and tear stained cheeks.

“Steve wouldn’t lie.” She’d mumble as Eddie reached for one of her hands so he could run his thumb over her knuckles, something he knew would help soothe her. “You think I act like a baby and now I’m crying so I guess I do act like a baby huh?” Eddie would shake his head as she let out a watery laugh, he knew she was feeling embarrassed by the way she looked away from him and back to looking at her hands quickly yanking the one he was holding out of his grasp.

“I told Steve I have to be delicate with you,” Eddie would place his hands on the tops of her knees and give them a little pat making her look from her hands to his. “I know you can get overwhelmed easily so I have to take special care when it comes to you.” He’d explain as he takes both of her hands in his so he can give them a reassuring squeeze.

“I can’t help it.” Eddie would just bring her hands up to his lips so he could place sweet kisses to her knuckles as he looked at her as she stared off into the distance, something he knew she did when she was feeling insecure. “But I’m not a baby.” She’d add making Eddie just nod his head in agreement as he runs his thumbs over the tops of her hands.

“I know that sweetheart.” She’d look at him as he spoke and Eddie would give her a reassuring smile. “You’re just my sweet shy girl.” He’d watch the corners of her mouth twitch letting him know she was fighting the smile that wanted to take over her face at his special pet name for her. “I’m sorry baby, I will talk to Harrington about what he told you.” She’d just nod her head as if answering the unspoken question in Eddie’s mind, so he leaned over and placed a kiss to her lips making her smile as he pulled away.

“You can stay with me tonight.” Eddie would smile and let out a sigh of relief before he leaned in for another kiss. “I love you.” She’d mumble as Eddie pulled away from her.

Eddie squints as he looks at the you sitting on the porch reading a book, he tosses his jacket and lunchbox into his van before he closes the door and makes his way over to you. He’s walking up your steps before you can hide your book from him, it’s one you know he’ll be shocked and slightly concerned to see you reading.

“Good morning my sweet girl,” his voice is soft and sweet as he leans down and places a kiss to the top of your head, his eyes scanning the front of the book in the process. “Stephen King?” He asks as he kneels down in front of you so he can look into your eyes.

“I won’t get scared.” You blurt out making him chuckle as he reaches up and brushes some hair out of your face. “It’s not scary.” You add as you look down at the book in your lap.

“Oh it’s not?” He jokes as he picks the book up off your lap and sees you’re only half way into the first chapter. “It’s a bit too soon to say that isn’t it sweetheart?” You bite your bottom lip as he places the book on the table next to you after he secures your bookmark so you don’t lose your spot.

“It just sounded interesting.” You say shyly as you slowly look at Eddie who is giving you a teasing glare. “I’ll be fine.” Eddie just nods his head as he leans over and places a quick kiss to your lips making a light blush creep it’s way onto your face.

“We’ll see how this one goes and how you handle it okay? I don’t want you getting scared when I’m not here.” Eddie explains as he stand up while you just nod your head as you look up at him with a smile.

“Okay. Maybe you can read some to me when you come over?” You ask as you reach over and grab the book off the table. “I like the voices you use when you read to me.” Eddie just smiles as you look away from him feeling slightly embarrassed by your confession.

“Anything for my sweet girl.” He answers as he leans down and kisses the top of your head. “I love you sweetheart.” He adds as you look up at him.

“I love you too.” He smiles as he turns so he can head back to his van to go to work.

Hiiii babes!! Well it is Sunday soooo I guess we can do all the Shy Wife things😂 also this took a turn but like it’s still cute🙈💖

*Enjoy the way Eddie just can’t say no to you and is always there when you need to be comforted*

“This one is perfect.” You bend down to grab the pumpkin you had been eying but before you can grab it you feel a hand on your shoulder. You look up and see Eddie smiling down at you, he gives you a little wink before he leans over and grabs the pumpkin.

“Good job sweetheart.” You smile and stand up as Eddie puts the pumpkin in the wagon next to the other two you’d picked. Earlier in the day Eddie had surprised you with a trip to the pumpkin patch and you couldn’t have been more excited, he knew you wanted to go since you had mentioned it a few times before but didn’t want to go alone so Eddie being the thoughtful husband he is decided to take you for a little surprise date.

“Is three enough?” You ask as Eddie pulls the wagon down the path towards a picnic table. You look around to see if any other pumpkins catch your eye and you smile when you see a family taking photos together in the middle of the field.

“We can get as many as you want sweetheart.” Eddie answers as he wraps his arms around you from behind and rests his chin on your shoulder.

“Can we maybe do that?” Eddie follows your gaze and sees the family taking pictures together. “I know it’s not very metal.” You add as Eddie’s hold around your waist tightens.

“Now when have I ever,” Eddie raises his head to he can whisper in your ear. “Been able to tell my sweet girl no?” You giggle as he places sloppy kisses to the side of your neck. “Let me put the pumpkins in the van and then we can do whatever you want.” You smile as he gives you a little squeeze before his arms slip off your waist and he gives your cheek a quick peck. “Will you be okay by yourself?” You turn around as he speaks and look him in the eyes, the usual dark brown more of a light caramel color making you smile. You know he’s not asking to be rude but he’s asking because he doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable, you feeling safe is always his top priority.

You look around, Eddie watches the way your eyes travel around the pumpkin patch that’s littered with families and people on the hunt for their perfect pumpkin or just out taking a stroll through the corn maze. He doesn’t miss the way you flinch slightly as the tractor being used for hayrides starts up causing a commotion from the kids waiting in line to catch the next ride.

“I’ll just wait at the table over there.” Eddie just nods and gives you a smile as he watches you walk towards the picnic table near the end of the path. You sit on the bench and wave at him playfully as he walks past with the wagon filled with your pumpkins, he blows you a kiss making you laugh before he turns the corner and is out of your sight. You sit there and mess with your hands, twirling your wedding band around on your finger as you wait for him to return. You can’t help but feel a little overwhelmed as you watch all the people pass by laughing and smiling amongst themselves, you look down at your feet and take a few deep breathes to help you calm down.

“Miss me?” You jump at the sound of Eddie’s voice as he appears in front of you, he raises an eyebrow as he kneels down so he can look you in the eyes. “It’s okay sweetheart.” His voice is soothing as he slowly raises his hands to cup both sides of your face. “Look at me sweet girl.” When your eyes find his he feels his heart sink a little, he can tell you’re overwhelmed and he instantly regrets leaving you to sit alone with your thoughts. “You’re okay.” You reach up and place a hand over his that’s holding the side of your face.

“I think I want to go home now.” You whisper but Eddie hears you just fine. He gives you a smile as he leans in and gives you a quick kiss to the lips.

“We can come back and take all the photos you want how does that sound sweetheart?” You smile as rests his forehead against yours.

“Can we do the hayride too?” You ask and Eddie feels his heart want to melt at how cute you look when you ask for something.

Hiii babes!! Ohh I love this idea but I don’t think Eddie would be upset more like worried about how into it you are and of course he doesn’t want you to be afraid while alone💖

*Once again Shy Wife is Sunday and Eddie tends to keep her away from all things scary lol*

“Then they found the bodies under his house in the basement.” Eddie just nods his head as he watches your face light up as you tell him all about this new serial killer you had watched a Netflix documentary on earlier this week. “Like who hides bodies in the basement and then has the heater on? Like of course it’s going to smell.” You add as you plop onto the bed next to where he’s laying on his back with his hands behind his head.

“Is this all you’ve been watching while I’ve been gone?” He asks as you get comfortable and rest your head on his chest. You look up at him and he knows by the way you just give him a shy smile that the answer is yes. “Oh my sweet girl.” He sighs as he brings one of his arms down so he can run his hand up and down your back making you smile and snuggle closer to him. “I don’t know if you should be watching all that while you’re alone.” His tone is soft as he leans down and places a kiss to the top of your head.

“But it’s interesting.” You mumble as you drape your arm over his middle, Eddie just chuckles as you absentmindedly mess with the drawstring of his sweatpants. “They don’t scare me.” You explain as you look up at Eddie who just nods his head, he knows you’re getting more comfortable with scary and creepy things even though he may want to shield you from them he wants you to do what makes you happy.

“Too early.” She’d groan as she rolls over to her side once Eddie’s alarm goes off. Eddie would just chuckle as he reaches over to turn it off.

Eddie knows better than to talk to her when she first wakes up so he just rolls onto his side and moves a few stands of her hair out of her face so he can place a kiss to her forehead as her eyes stay closed. After looking at her all peaceful and content he’d roll back over so he can sit up and stretch before getting out of bed to get ready for work. He knows by the time he’s dressed and turned on the coffee machine that she’d be in a better mood.

“Good morning my grumpy girl,” she’d let out a small huff as Eddie leans down and places a kiss to her cheek. “You gonna miss me while I’m at work?” He’d tease as he watches her slowly open her eyes as a frown takes over her features.

“That’s mean.” Eddie would smile down at her before placing a quick kiss to her lips. “I always miss you.” She’d answer before she leans up to steal another kiss making him smile.

“I love you my grumpy girl.” He’d give her one last kiss to to tip of her nose before standing up and grabbing his jacket off the end of the bed.

“Love you.” She’d give him a smile as she sits up in the bed. “I’m not grumpy anymore.” She’d add as Eddie slips on his leather jacket.

Hiii babes!! Ohh I think it went something like this…

“Next time you tell her something why don’t you make sure it’s what I actually said and not you’re twisted interpretation of it.” Steve would just nod his head as Eddie glared at him from across the old wooden picnic table that was in the middle of the trailer park.

“Got it. Sorry man I didn’t think she’d get upset.” Eddie would just roll his eyes as Steve fumbled his way through the apology.

“She’s sensitive about what people think about her.” Eddie would explain as he looked over Steve’s shoulder just to see her sitting on her porch with a book in her hand.

“I understand. I’m really sorry.” Eddie would just nod his head as Steve turned to look over his shoulder and smile at the girl reading on her porch when she waved at them.

“Just know next time you make her upset I won’t be so forgiving.” Eddie would threaten as Steve looks back at him, not having time to respond as he watches Eddie get up from the table. Before Steve could turn to see where he was heading he’d feel a hard smack to the back of his head.

“Jesus. I said sorry.” Steve would mumble as he rubs the back of his head making Eddie laugh as he walked towards his wife’s porch.
