"You can put that gurney back inside," Steve grinned, in his captain's voice.  He gently lifted Stevie in his arms and lovingly carried him to the transport, laying him on the repositioned gurney and securing the straps himself, eyes locked tenderly on his other self.  He sat in one of the jump seats, watching as the medic started inserting an IV to start readying Stevie for the delivery process, a hand protectively squeezing Stevie's nearest ankle.

"Well meet you at the Center," Buck called, as the transport's doors closed.

"Here we go, honey," Stevie smiled, utterly glowing with joy.
