      “Wh--huh?!” This bouncy happy little pink person stunned him. Very much confused him and had him questioning if he was really seeing this right, but also rather curious. Regardless of initial surprise, he grinned. “Well, s’a pleasure ta’ meetcha, Spinel! I reckon I could absolutely lift ya, easy-peasy!”

“ Oooooh boy oh boy!! Lift me lift me!! “ The small girl yelled in excitement, happily waving her arms up at him for him to lift her up.

What was rather strange was how she moved them… they were stretched out and coiled, wiggling them up and down. Maybe that was her quirk..? But what was that giant gem in her chest for?

She was rather small, it shouldn’t be hard to lift her. She looked light too, which was a bonus. Oh man, she’s just so happy and excited to meet him, it’s quite endearing and adorable!

Wonder what Ochaco would think of her…

        "As, you wish!” He moved to secure hold on her, and start to lift the smaller being when, well...when the latter words registered, leaving him confused once again by the pink person.

         “Wh--wait, space???” She wanted to be yeeted? “You, uh...you sure about that there, Spinel?”

         Far be it from him to refuse, he would absolutely try his best to toss her, he loved the feeling of being thrown so much too, but...well, he just had to make sure she it was what she wanted.

“ Okay!! “

The pink bean nodded happily and awaited the picture, holding the small beetle in her cartoon-like hands and bouncing up and down impatiently.

Once he got the picture, she pats the beetle with her finger as gently as possible and grinned even wider at her little friend crawling across her arm.

Then, suddenly, Spinel let out a loud ‘OUCH!’ and dropped the bug.

It seems the bug had bitten her, and created a red bite mark. Spinel tears up and rubs the bite mark on her arm, looking up at him with little tears streaming down her face.

“… She don’t like me… “

         Ohh, this picture would make for such a cute background--

         He looked up from his phone in alarm, dropping it just as fast as he moved forwards to gingerly hold her arm.

         “Gah--that’s gotta hurt...!” He glared briefly at the beetle, gently--well, he was sure it was--nudging the beetle further away from her with his foot. But then focused back onto her. “Nah, nah, that--” No, wait, that probably wasn’t the best explanation--

       “Wh--oh!” Eyes grew wide with awe then sheer delight. She caught such a sweet little thing! “Jenni looks so very cute! Where’dja find ‘er?! Wait, wait, hold ‘er still, I wanna get a picture!”
