I have a problem! I started a Dick-centric batfamily fic that’s focused on Dick navigating being the eldest and leading the family both socially and in the hero world with B out of the picture, and I need advice on the ships.

All the batkids are in it with their respective ships (Timbartkon for Tim, Jayroy for Jason, Stephcass and no one for Damian cause he’s 11y/o as per this fic.)

The thing is, I didn’t have anyone in mind for Dick (and I didn’t deem it necessary either cause the focus is on the family anyway) but I accidentally overdeveloped a secondary-character Male!OC and made their dynamic too flirty and it’s reached a point where either they end up together or I’m being a jackass cause they’re so good together.

What do I do? I’m not an OC/Character kinda writer, and I feel like it’s missed opportunity for a ship… but they’re so good together! 😩
