“oh? have you come to visit me?” perfectheart turned around to face whoever was present-- only to be surprised with someone she knew! after all-- she knew everyone, but she supposed she did have a connection to this person, no matter how indirect. so, she offered the utmost cordiality.

a polite curtsy; before she straightens herself once again. “hello there, captain!” while she was happy to be here and supervise sweepheart, she wasn’t exactly opposed to someone new showing up! “what brings you all the way down here? it’s a long way down.”  she did sound happy; not upset by any means. perhaps sweetheart would have been angered by his company -- but that did not seem to apply to her. 

    🍀𝔹𝟘;; ‘ Mm... This could be an issue... ‘ B0 looked at his phone, seeing nothing coming up beside the concerned expression of his friend on the other side of the screen trying to figure it out himself. He didn’t know where he was, despite how similar it looked to his own home. ‘ Well, can’t figure things out staying here, Yukio, suppose I should take this time to look around. We’ll find something to help soon... ‘

    And that would come sooner than he thought. Before he had the chance to collect his thoughts, he pretty well slammed into someone head on with a small “oomph!” ‘ I’m so sorry! ‘ He backed up some and gave the other some space, looking them up and down to notice...

 ₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ @multigrounds​​ ;    as their families' faces were turned towards the bright lights in the sky, a young girl scoots over to the boy her age, giving him a smile. a finger is placed over her lips with a little wink as she grabs his hand, pulling him away from the commotion, away to behind the cat-like structure on the park. she's quiet, for a moment, still keeping their fingers intertwined... before mari pulls him down just a little to kiss him squarely on the lips. colours spark above them, covering the once dark scene in bright lights, flashing with life. and mari remains, pulling him closer in, her spare hand resting on his cheek. it's almost perfect, this moment of reprieve from the world. right now, there were only them. there was only hero and mari. as she separates, she laughs, bumping her forehead to his as her breath clouds in the cold. "happy new year, hero," she hums with the brightest smile. she got to start it right! ... but that wasn't the end of it. she pulls away a little more, revealing a small box hidden in one of her jacket's pockets. "and... of course..." she starts slowly, holding out the little box of cookies. smaller to fit, most likely cold by now, but undoubtedly of her own making. almost perfect. so close. "... happy birthday! i wanted to be the first to say it, hehe."  // it (was) hero’s birthday!! // always accepting!

if there was one thing everyone knew; it was that hero could never say no to mari. even if it was going along with some crazy scheme she came up with to prank the younger members of their friend group; he would always agree to it -- even if it was so he could spend a little time with her alone. so, when mari took hero’s hand, all he could do was take a quick glance at his relatives, making sure they weren’t looking their way. with the affirmation that they weren’t -- eyes focused on the glittering fireworks overhead, he would hurry up to follow mari to somewhere more secluded. 

hero wasn’t sure what he should expect -- after all, mari is one to be full of surprises. however, he didn’t have to wait long -- as soon, a kiss was planted square on his lips. face flushes red, as hero returns the kiss to mari -- wishing that the seemingly perfect moment could last forever. just the two of them here, out in the night where no one was going to come for them just yet. hero’s hands would nervously settle around mari’s waist once she pulled away, embarrassed smile on his face as he held her close to him. 

“ t-thanks mari. i’m glad i get to spend it with you!” hero would start, only to pause as mari took out the box. hero looked surprised for a moment, before her birthday wishes made him laugh a bit. “ well -- looks like you beat everyone else to it .. i guess i owe you something for that, right? “ annnd here he goes, trying to turn on the charm. a flashy smile, as he pulls mari just a little closer. “ how about .. one more kiss? you wouldn’t wanna turn down the birthday boy, right? “

    🍨𝓐𝓭𝓭𝓲𝓮;; ‘ YOU! Boyfriend! Baby! Come here a second! ‘ She called him over, not saying anything more than that-- Well, until she scooped him up with a flurry of giggles and an excited “gotcha!”

    From there, it wasn’t long before she held him close and was proceeding to pepper his face in so many smooches. Like, if this was a cartoon, you would be able to see the lipstick all over his forehead and cheeks. It was boyfriend, more over, he was her significant other-- So how could she not possibly think to jump at the chance to shower him in affection? The short answer, she couldn’t. The long answer? You’d be hard pressed to see her not give him some kind of affection at almost any hour of the day when she saw him.
