@multigalaxymuses sent: "I know we need to get up... but..." - Ricardo to one of your Ricks.
Coming back to his senses with a hangover and a splitting headache was hardly news to AR. Those two things characterised most of his awakenings these days, to the point that he was almost tempted to worry if neither were present whenever he opened his eyes after having passed out, no matter the time.
Of course, there was always the chance that they could be the result of being hit on the head or drugged or both, because that had happened too more than once, but more often than not he had only himself to blame for his poor state. So, it was the most reasonable guess to make.
Biting back a groan, the black market dealer pressed his face against the pillow, as if trying to will the pounding inside his skull again...only to jerk his head up once again at the realisation that the fabric didn't feel as he was expecting. And, now that he was paying attention to it, neither did the mattress. It was far too large and comfortable to be the one he had in his ratty apartment on the Citadel.
Gritting his teeth and ignoring the way his head spun, AR pushed himself to sit up on the bed, sheets falling off his chest and pooling in his lap, and blinked to force his eyes to adapt to the morning light. A brief glance told him that he definitely was not in his flat, nor was it his best friend's. He didn't recognise the room at all.
"W-What the...?" He muttered under his breath, but he was cut off by a voice, a shade of his own, before he could fully collect his thoughts.
Bright blue eyes landed on the man who was lying in bed next to him and suddenly the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. Oh. Damn, he must have gotten really drunk if he had let some random Rick take him to his house, instead of going to some space motel or just sticking to a bathroom quickie.
"Y-Yeah, I should probably be off, I-I have shit to do, but..." His voice trailed off once more and he let himself fall back on his back again. "C-Can't go anywhere till my head stops killing me, s-so...uh, maybe start by telling me w-what dimension is this? An-And what exactly happened last night? N-Not complaining, just...y'know. B-Blackout drunk."
