@toranoya asked: Moxxie froze mid-step as a commotion erupted further down the street. A crowd of snarling sinners surged through the alley, all of them chasing after a clearly wounded, slightly chubby angel whose white robes were stained with golden blood. "Aw, hell." After only a moment's hesitation, Moxxie drew his pistol and fired a shot into the air. The crack rang through the street, making the front of the mob flinch. "Back off! Unless one of you idiots wants to explain the extra holes in your chest!" He rushed to the angel's side, hooking an arm under his shoulder to keep him upright as he glanced over the injuries. "Can you walk? Even a little? 'Cause if you can, I suggest we get out of here now."
As usual, Abel had accompanied Emily when she visited the hotel. And, as usual, he'd decided to wander off a little in order to look around, with the majority of Hell still new to him. He figures things are pretty okay now that the recent conflict has been resolved.
He was wrong.
It took a while, but some sinners that were still riled up about the exterminations and the cancelled war steadily crowded in and started following him. At first they just insulted him, but when he nervously chuckled to himself and kept walking, they took it personally and started rushing him.
He's been running for a few minutes, with his wings a bit too damaged for him to effectively fly off. When the gunshot rings out, Abel freezes up with the other sinners, eyes wide as he stares at the nearby imp holding the weapon.
Help is offered, and he doesn't think twice about accepting it, his arm wrapping around Moxxie. "Y-yeah, I can still walk. Is there somewhere safe nearby so I can heal...?"
