any headcanons of his you'd like to spew?
Oh very much so. Dyle is like a bug to me heis so very interesting. I don't have many for him YET but I have a few!!
-Autistic + OCD. Probably a very basic + common HC so far but very much fixated on trains. Schedules and what the time is (very very focused on his timing + the timing of others, like it's genuinely upsetting when someone is a few seconds late from a schedule he had planned out) are something he's CONSTANTLY checking, double checking, and triple checking. He thinks that if he doesn't count to a certain number for a certain thing or that he's late to something even if by a little bit, he's failed in his mind. He wanted to be the best of the best for Arthur and Delilah, to show he was good enough to be on the show or even just given a little bit of spotlight and attention for his efforts despite being a background / assistant Toon.
-Because he likes ponies, Dandy keeps tapes of some episodes of My Little Pony Gens 1-3 in Gardenview specifically for Dyle. It's a guilty pleasure of Dyle's and Dandy likes watching them with him.
-Yoinked from @madcatdaderpydrawer-blog teehee (Hi Mad :D). He's got a staring habit. It's how he notices things about a lot of Toons. It's unnerving at first to a lot of them until they get to know him but he genuinely doesn't realise he's staring, just thinks he's normally observing.
-Like Boxten's key, the hands on his face spin around when he's concentrated on something.
-Dyle has helped Toons with some special requests before to get certain things to Gardenview after it shut down. Arts and craft supplies for Craft Siblings and Brusha, things for the Circus Troupe to perform new acts, etc.
-Talking with Finn about trains while the latter yaps to Dyle about his puns and marine facts is one of the highlights of his days ^-^
*hearing the shouts of fright and confusion, Dave is awoken from his slumber, and he looks around the town, now likely infested with some rot* "oh, sweet gods below... what in the hell happened?"
