#kendama

Wow, Charles was initially able to get all 10 balls on all 10 cups for the 10-cup kendama (10連けん玉) but one slipped, so it was 9/10. It's difficult to do, that's why the host from FujiTV got excited. The Japanese comments are praising him too, and someone suggested him going pro (people do this competitively!). 😸

I come baring an update for my original kamen rider idea! First up, we've got a signature weapon! The Kendama Wrecking ball!

When thinking of a signature weapon based on toys, I remembered that if this were a real season, it would primarily be marketed to Japanese kids. So, I figured a Japanese toy was fitting! And one as iconic as the kendama was super easy to translate into a weapon!

I like to think this weapon can work as both a morning star, and a hammer! It's two in one!

And what's a Kamen rider without their bike?

I had two ideas for this one, so I let my tumblr audience decide! And by a landslide, they agreed a Unicorn Motorcycle was too cool to pass up!

With the new gear, come two more Toyblox!

First up, we've got Mr. Kendama! An old fashioned toy with an old fashion personality! Kendama's were among the first products produced by Starfall Toys back in the day!

And second, we have Shooting Star! A popular character in Starfall's "Rollercorn" line. A line of racing toys no horse girl can resist! Shooting Star fancies herself a lady of high caliber, but on the track? No one's got a greater need for speed!

So sorry this took so long, but without a further ado,

BLOCKBUSTER! TIKAL

Role: Amy Rose the Hedgehog

This version of Tikal is known for being a BIG fan of Knuckles and his heroics across South, Westside, and Angel Islands, but she isn’t obsessive about it like canon Amy was. So you might be thinking, “How does she end up on Little Planet?” Well…I haven’t figured that out yet. 😅

All that matters is that she’s there and gets kidnapped by Mecha Knuckles and brought back to Tails and Commander Noah. But instead of staying a captive like Amy was back in CD, she decides to snoop around to find her signature weapon, an oversized, futuristic kendama with a plasma ball as its kendama ball. With it, she destroys Noah’s operation from the inside while Knuckles destroys it from the outside, a sandwich maneuver. After the my CD adaptation, she would hit it off nicely with Knuckles and go get her weapon a new paint job, the one that you see now.
