Dell Multi-Monitor Wake-Up Solution
I’ve got a triple-monitor setup for work, two of which are Dells. One is an older 4K monitor, the other a newer 1440p monitor. Whenever I wake them up after they go to sleep, it seems that they don’t wake up at the same time. Therefore, the graphics card sends the video signal to just one of the monitors (to the 1440p), and assumes that the other monitor (4K) is just not there. I have to “remind” the graphics card that the 4K monitor is, in fact, plugged-in, by manually switching the input on the 4K monitor. Such a pain in the butt. I’ve been trying to deal with this (and searching for solutions) for over a year now, and... I seem to have found a viable fix. Meet Dell’s “Dell Display Manager”. It’s a little application which allows you to adjust various settings on your Dell monitor via a desktop program. Note that your monitor must support DDC/CI (you can check by going to your Dell monitor’s physical Menu > Others, then activate DDC/CI, if applicable). Once in the Dell Display Manager app, all I did was go to Configure > Options, then check On PowerNap. I also hit the radio button on “Reduce brightness when screensaver activates”.
I did this for both monitors, and things seem to be working very well. I can wake-up the PC and both monitors are now displaying an extended view of the desktop and contents, as expected. Do a search for “Dell Display Manager” and hopefully you’ll find the latest version.

MirraViz has the worlds first multi-display screen!
MirraViz has the worlds first multi-display screen! @mirraviz
I experienced the first gaming multi-display at E3 by MirraViz and I left the demo feeling impressed and angry wondering why this wasn’t invented when I was a kid. The MirraViz allows multiple gamers to play together one one large display, with each person seeing different and immersive content over the entire screen. This doesn’t just work with, gaming, it works as another alternative to home…

Eyefinity and Matrox settings cont...
With the Eyefinity does not work quite how I wanted it to be I try and setup the Matrox triplehead2go since I am using it as my port for connecting all the projectors with my laptop. At first I thought you would only need to plug it in and it will work but then I realized that there is also a settings for the Matrox as well. Now I’m thinking whether the reason why the Eyefinity settings does not work maybe because I did not setup the Matrox yet for the laptop to recognize the projectors that are connected to the laptop. So I went to the Matrox website and find the software for the Matrox and install them. After I had installed it I set up the settings along with the projectors setup with my laptop. The Matrox setup is quite useful since they are really detail in how to setup to combine the display as one big display. They showed you the resolution that you need for the display and also shows which display is on which sides. Once I had set up everything I found that my laptop did not recognize one of the projectors but the projectors still working fine only that in the system it did not recognize it. Therefore I could not use the Eyefinity setup but I can use the setup with the Matrox to display all the projector screens as one big display. Now I can open up my Unity engine and run the game to see whether the screen is aligned with the image.
