If you are an American... born in the US, raised in the US, educated in the US ...DON’T YOU DARE COME TO ME AND TELL ME ABOUT WHO IS OR ISN’T A PERSON OF COLOR OUTSIDE OF THE US UNTIL YOU HAVE READ AND STUDIED ABOUT MULTICULTURALISM IN EUROPE AND ASIA.
Your whole education on the matter comes from YOUR history (and I’m talking about the history that goes from 1492 to today, that includes a whole different and much more tragic take on colonialism, slavery, persecution of minorities because of their skin color, and so on) that differs greatly from what has been the history of humanity, not only previous to that year, but also in different parts of the world.
I am not saying it didn’t happen in other parts of the world, OF COURSE IT DID, IN SOME CASES IT STILL DOES TODAY SADLY, but the bulk of it was on that side of the pond, so it’s normal that your culture evolved the way it did, developing a deep need to jump up and call to “whitewashing” every chance you get, it’s just that... (breaking news)... despite what your whole educational system would have you believe... YOU ARE NOT THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE, not even close, so before you open your mouth, make sure you did your homework.
Don’t be discouraged by colonial settler terrorism.
Radio stations, television shows, episode and animation dubs, books, and other materials in countless Native American languages should be widely, digitally and massively available and accessible to the public and the world.
Regardless of what U.S. state you’re trapped in at the moment, don’t let the incredible discouragement by the colonial settler U.S. discourage you from creating countless materials, dictionaries, phrasebooks, entertainment and music in all the tribal languages possible.
Another exciting possibility is the revival of previously extinct and poorly documented Native languages (such as Cusabo, Mikasuki, Tutelo, Guale and countless others) by adapting words from surviving related languages and language families (such as Arawakan and Sioux) into their vocabularies.
Increasing the popularity of native and sustainable crops, as well as new livestock and foods, will help create new native recipes to smash gross colonial Boomer cuisine. No icky tuna casserole, canned milk artichoke goo or ham jello here.
The creation of artificial jade, turquoise and other valuable materials, by recycling plastic into gem lumps, would be wonderful for crafts and the world.
Expanding meat choice beyond beef, pork turkey and chicken, by adding in more sustainable meats like cricket flour, goats, camels, sheep, elk, and so forth, along with farming and eating lots more native and under appreciated vegetables and fruits, like crabapples, pawpaw, leaf amaranth, turnips, plums and plum vinegar, chickweed, sesame for oil and food, chestnuts, etc.
Creating animated series, video games and other entertainment against colonialism - and for the major revival of tribal cultures and languages - is also wonderful.
supporting black lives means supporting trans people, autistic people, disabled people, multicultural people, fat people, etc.
black people can be any of these. if u only support cis, straight, neurotypical, thin, conventionally attractive, able-bodied black people, then u don’t actually support black people. u support ur idealized version of black people. that’s not support, it’s fetishization

Former U.S. and colonial youth have a reasonable and important right to help study native tribal and multicultural architecture, to replace colonial and shoddy settler American buildings with that.
Former U.S. and colonial youth fully deserve the right to become students, naturalized members and workers of native tribal societies, and receive the same education and languages tribe-born members would receive.
