things have changed since the avengers brought back half of the world. technically, tony stark and natasha romanoff are dead (…for now), wanda maximoff scarred a small town in new jersey with her chaos magic, and loki laufeyson broke out the multiverse into a billion different branches. universes are colliding, the world is overrun by heroes and villains at each other’s throats, technology is evolving every passing day, and civilians are caught in the middle. so, what’s a hero to do?

THEY START BY REBUILDING.

there are two buildings in upstate new york located beside one another: S.H.I.E.L.D. & S.W.O.R.D. training compounds, working together to train a new era of superheroes. starting with those we know as the young avengers, old heroes train new ones, mentoring all the young souls who yearn to make the world a better, safer place. S.W.O.R.D. becomes responsible for all the people with powers, whilst S.H.I.E.L.D. takes in those without them — agents, spies, scientists. together, they aim to build what could potentially become the greatest defense system since the birth of the original avengers. with a cross-training program, no skillset is too small.
