One of the greatest things in filmmaking is the opportunity to develop creative partnerships. It is really a unique feeling when you recognize this person, among the dozens of professionals involved in a film production. It is that guy that jumps in the game giving you 100% support to your vision or, sometimes, totally disagrees with you and ends up showing you a totally different view, expanding your mind. This is so hard to find that it is nearly impossible to break the creative bond. Müller Barone is one of this creative partners of mine. We've done a number of films and productions together, many of them (maybe all of them, actually) awarded in different categories. We have been working in collaboration for years now. Sometimes on projects he directs and I do the cinematography or the editing or I doctor a script for him, sometimes when I direct and write and he produces, put his spices in the script or becomes that guy up to whatever comes up in the project. One of our last collaborations, the film "Hoje Jesus Não Vem", just got selected in the "Artículo 31 Film Fest" in Madrid, Spain. It is the ONLY FILM that isn't spoken in Spanish in the whole festival selection, considering all the categories. Also it is a 100% independent production with absolutely no tax incentives or any kind of government money. It is impossible to go more independent than that. 100% blood sweat and tears turning into art and spreading a very important message. I contributed to the project with the concept development and cinematography and the production through my company RAP Photodesign. Congratulations my friend Müller Barone for one more achievement and thanks for everything. Congratulations also to all the crew and talents involved. #filmmaking #independent #nomination #articulo31 #filmfestival #festivaldecinema #creativepartner #filmmakerslife #cinematography #gooddpstakegoodpics #goodDPstakegoodpictures #goodcinematographerstakegoodpictures #mullerbarone #rapphotodesign #raphaelbittencourt
