I know Iâve posting a lot of Dc stuff, but I have a few older Transformers fanfics that I want to post.
Flipped?
Elita One rolled off her berth. It was unusually cold in the room. She sleepily stumbled to the thermostat. It was set to 50 degrees. On the inside, she chuckled. It was probably a prank Optimus set. She set the temperature to a comfortable 70 the went to the berth to wrap up in a blanket till the room was heated. There were no blankets piled at the end of the oddly large berth or on the floor. That was when Elita called the game over. She stalked out of her room and down the hall towards where she was sure Optimus would be. She stepped into what should have been his office. Instead of the familiar office was a large dark throne room. She studied it from the doorway. The room was four times larger than the office she had expected. It was dark. The only light an from the cracks in the floor. Elita leaned down to study one of the cracks. From inside smoldered a think liquid that gave off a red-orange light. Elita jumped up when she heard a bloodcurdling scream. She fought her instinct to run from the terrifying place. Instead, she forced her self forward. When she was halfway across the room, she saw Optimus. His plating was dark purple and blue and evilness hung around him. At his feet was a dead bot. Their spark was held crushed in his hand.
âOptimus?â Elita gasped. She stood petrified and confused.
He looked at her and smiled darkly. âElita, Iâm sorry if you wanted to kill him, but it was urgent and couldnât wait for you to wake up.â
Elita stood frozen in place. She started to tremble. She couldnât help glancing at the dead bot then him and back the bot, over and over. Optimus walked to her. His fingers had sharp points that dug into her plating as he lifted her chin. He looked into her frightened eyes with concern.
âAre you unwell?â His voice was gravelly but weirdly gentle.
Elita couldnât move or speak. Optimus was careful not to scratch her as he reached out to hold her. Thatâs when Elita One finally reacted. She screamed and dropped to the ground where she curled into a trembling ball. She blocked out the outside world. Fear coursed through her.
She kept muttering over and over again. âI want to go home. I want to go home. Optimus will come for me. I want to go home!â
. . .
Elita Prime woke with a start. She wanted to cry out because of pain in her lower abdomen, but she held the scream inside. She sat up, looked around the room, and frowned. The berth was smaller. There were blankets tucked around her like a warm nest. The temperature was so much warmer then she was used to. It felt so comfortable that she couldnât resist the tiredness that swept over her. She woke again to a soft voice and a warm hand on her shoulder. She opened her eyes, reluctant to leave the warm peaceful slumber she had discovered.
The voice came again. âElita, wake up.â
Elita Prime saw Optimus Prime leaning over her. It took her a moment to realize that this wasnât the dark lord she knew. His plating was an unfamiliar red and blue. His eyes were kind and blue. He even gave her a different feeling, a warm one instead of the fierce vibe she usually got from him.
âWhere am I?â She exclaimed, Sitting up.
He reached out for her. âYouâre home.â
She threw him off the berth. Before he could push himself off the floor, she was on top of him.
âWhere am I? Who are you?â She growled.
He surrendered to her. âYouâre at the Autobot base on Cybertron. In our room. Iâm Optimus.â He looked at her chest, not daring to meet her burning eyes.
âYouâre no Prime.â She growled.
She stood up at realized him. He looked at her.
âElita? Your plating⌠Itâs the color of Energon.â He looked up at her, a question in his eyes.
Then it hit her. Why everything was different. Why he didnât recognize her color. Why she knew he wasnât her Prime. This was a different dimension. One where everything was different. The same players, different personalities. So considering he had recognized her, and that the people should be the same... She had switched places with this worldâs Elita. This meant that the other Elita was lost in Elita Primeâs world, with Optimus Prime. That thought scared her. If her treaty was right, the Decepticons would be bad in this world. The moment her Optimus relized what had happened he would come to this world to ally with these consâ.
. . .
Elita One was pulled to her feet by a strong hand. She wiped away her tears. Optimus Prime looked down at her. There was a hint of concern in his dark face. She only saw his lips move the first time he spoke.
âElita, do you need to lay down?â His voice was gentle and loving.
Elita didnât fight his hands slipping around her until she felt her feet leave the ground. Elita flailed trying to force him to drop her. All he did was pin her to his chest and continue to carry her. Elita let out a sigh of despair. She closed her eyes and gave in to the situation. Moments later she felt her self being lowered onto a cold berth. She opened her eyes. The dark Optimus Prime leaned down. He laid a gentle kiss on her forehead.
âSleep, Elita. Youâll feel better when you wake.â
She watched him intently. He rested a hand on her stomach and watched her. After a while, Elita closed her eyes. She felt his hand move away from her. Footsteps echoed through the room. The door shut and it sounded like a bolt was pulled shut. Elita One stood and walked to the door. She pulled desperately on the handle, but it didnât budge. She sighed and sat down on the berth again. If she was stuck in here, she could at least determine what had happened. She thought over the night before. She had finished training later than usual, grabbed a cube of Energon on her way to her berth room, and had fallen asleep next to Optimus. There had been nothing unusual. Wait! Before she had fallen asleep, Optimus had convinced her to come out and watch a comet. He had told her it would be in the sky for three days, starting that night. The combat, could that have caused this? She thought over how different everything was. Maybe this was a parallel dimension and the comet had opened a door between it and hers. If that was so, she only had till tomorrow to get back.
. . .
Once Elita Prime had finished explaining her theory, she quietly waited for input. This worldâs Optimus Prime stared at her.
âSo you think that my Elita is in your world?â
She nodded. The corners of his mouth turned up slightly.
âWe will get her back.â Elita Prime continued. âWe just need to find the rift between our dimensions, before it shuts. Which should be once the comet is out of sight.â
The Autobotâs scientist nodded. âShe should be right.â
The conformation made her glow on the inside. It was a rare feeling for her.
âWe know you went to sleep in your world and woke up here.â Optimus looked down for a moment as he considered.
Suddenly, Elita cried out and buckled over. She gasped and touched her stomach.
âAre you alright?â The scientist asked.
Elita nodded. She took another deep breath. âItâs just a cramp.â She looked back up. âYou were saying?â
Optimus raised an eye ridge at her before continuing. âI was saying that if you fell asleep in one place and woke up here, maybe we should try that. Wheeljack can work on making a device to find the rift, and you will sleep on my berth.â
Elita smiled. âTheoretically, Iâll wake up at home.â She pumped a fist in the air. âLetâs do it!â
That night Optimus tucked the blankets around her. âIf you see my Elita, tell her how to get back. If she doesnât get back, tell her I love her.â
Elita Prime smiled. âI will.â
Elita Prime opened her eyes. The room was dark. There were no longer blankets tucked around her. She sat up. Optimus was laying next to her on the berth. She studied his plating. It was dark blue and purple. Elita Prime looked up. In the darkness, someone was pacing. The movement was subtle and the was no noise to give the stranger away. Elita stood. She slipped off the berth. She moved silently, with her hands outstretched. Her left hand touched could plating. The botâ she had touched gave a quite cry and backed away.
âElita One?â Elita asked.
âHow do you know my name?â A voice asked out of the darkness.
âOptimus told me, your Optimus.â
âMy Optimus?â Elita Oneâs voice wavered.
âYes.â Elita Prime kept her voice calm. âWe switched places. This is my world, with my Optimus. Yours is waiting for you. I can get you back to him.â
Elita suddenly took a sharp breath. Her abdomen was starting to hurt again. The sparkling inside of her was moving more than usual. A hand touched her shoulder. Elita Prime could just barely see the other Elitaâs face in the dark.
âAre you alright?â Her voice was calming.
âYes.â
Elita One paused for a moment. âYou said you could get me home?â
âYes. Lie down on the berth and sleep, you should wake at home.â
Elita One nodded. âThank you.â She laid down on the berth. âOh, Just so you know, your Optimus thinks youâve been sick or something.â
âThanks.â
Elita Prime watched her settle down on the berth. Elita found herself a place in the corner. She watched Elita One sleep for a while. This would be the last time she would see her or the other Optimus. She wished she could have the both of both worlds, her Optimus, who loved her so much, and the nice people she had met on her adventure. But she had to choose. Elita sighed. She had to stay. She couldnât raise her sparkling away from his father. She hadnât realized how tired she was until sweet sleep washed her in its drowsy waves.
. . .
Elita One woke. Her eyes opened. She gasped. Optimus, her Optimus, was kneeling at the berth side. He smiled. Elita couldnât contain her joy. She wrapped her arms around his neck.
âI missed you, Elita.â
That was all he said before locking their lips. Elita was happy to give in to him, as his hands roamed her frame. She held still and silent, as he traced her transformation seams. She gasped when his hand brushed across her sweet spot. Optimus leaned over her to lay kisses across the spot. Elita gave him those pretty noises he loved.
âI love you, Elita. I missed you, so much.â
âSo did I.â She whispered.
The door was suddenly thrown open. Wheeljak burst in.
âI did it!â He froze when he saw Elita. âOh, you found her. I guess Iâll just leave.â
He was out the door quickly. Elita and Optimus chuckled.
. . .
Elita Prime woke to Optimus leaning over her.
âElita? How do you feel?â
âIâm alright,â she whispered.
She looked behind him. Elita One was gone. She smiled.
âAre you tired?â Optimus asked.
She nodded. Optimus picked her up and set her down on the berth. He sat down next to her and gently rubbed her side. He took a break to kiss her stomach.
âIâll have a medic come check on you.â
âLater,â she whispered.
âLaterâ
She smiled. She was at home. The words sunk in. She had never used them before. But she guessed the people were what really mattered. When Elita woke later, she expected to be back in the other world, but she was still home. Elita grabbed at datapad and looked up the comet. It turned out that the comet was actually the alignment of Cybertronâs two moons. The alignment happened every 15 years. In fifteen years she could see Optimus and Elita One again. She smiled by then, she would be a mother. How different it would be. But change was inevitable, you just had to adjust. People come and go, you just have to keep going, keep living, keep hoping.
