A/N: Not a request, but I thought we all need a pick-me-up today. Enjoy everyone, and feel free to request anything you’d like to see me write about ~

Seriously, do you realize how aesthetically pleasing the common room is?

I mean, like the blues and bronze made you feel like freakin’ royalty once you walk in

the most musical of the the common rooms - there’s soft sound of choir singing because of the magic, and the blue hues really calms you down REAL fast

I am 100% SURE that there’s AROMATHERAPY going on inside the common room:

~  and I’m talking about in the Golden Trio Era of course:

.Walking into the entrance hall with others, just fawning over how bada** the castle looked

. “We’re going to be living in THIS for the next seven years?! WICKED!”

. Walking up confidently to get sorted even though you’re freaking out on the inside (But don’t swagger though, cause...just don’t)

. “Y/H!!” the hat bellows, as your house claps to welcome you

. If, by any chance, a certain Malfoy, or some older students decides to make fun of you, you show them just how many f**ks you give about their comments -

. “You don’t belong here, our house is too good for you”

. “Well, my ears are too good to be hearing this trash coming out of your mouth”

. Totally dressing up for Halloween feast, pretending as if nothing’s wrong

. “Dude, what are you wearing??”

. “I’m the clown from IT / Velociraptor from Jurassic Park / a GhostBuster, duh”

. “???”

. SPIRIT WEEK for the upcoming house vs house Quidditch game is going to be intense

. Making up fun and interesting study sessions at the library with Hermione: Jeopardy, Trivia etc

. LOTS of snickering with your friends whenever Harry and Draco have a fight, because it’s just so funny

. Managing to bring loads of vinyl records with your favorite songs on them, calling them your mixtape, since technology don’t work well with magic

. Parties / secret parties in the room of requirement

. manage to play movies with one of those VCR tapes

. “Disney, anyone?” or showing the Purebloods IT, Psycho, Evil Dead, Jurassic Park and just watch them freak out ( Or freak out with them)

. Re- enact Indiana Jones scenes with your friends

. muggle pun references everywhere

. Intense snowball fights

. Jamming to the theme song of FRIENDS

. wishing for a small theme park in front of the Room of Requirement

. Muggle bath hauls to share with your wizard/witch friends

I don't assume that everyone has a great family life except Harry. Throughout the books, we get glimpses of other families: like the Malfoys, the Grangers, the Diggorys, and the Weasleys. Now, to say that these big, main families are nowhere perfect, but they do care about their children(although strict, I do believe that the Malfoy parent cared deeply about Draco).

But this might not be the case with every family. I think there are definitely abusive or neglecting families, whether if they're pureblood or muggleborn. In a way, these kids would be at least a bit traumatized, and if not damaged emotionally in a way. I belive that for some cases, small portion of muggleborns would have gone through being ostracized for their powers, and remember that England did also underwent public hysteria of witchcraft a long time ago in history, so that might also affect how some families see their kids when they began showing signs or magic. My question is: how do you think Hogwarts are going to deal with this situation? Whether if there was a war or not.
