I don’t know how to feel about being in fandoms anymore.

Every fandom I’ve ever been a part of has either been toxic sludge or dead af.

Dhmis? Dead. Dead as hell. More dead than dhmis 8 itself.

TADC? Content farming, leaks, racism, etc.

Homestuck, Hellaverse, mlp, fnaf, and FNF? Where do I begin with how controversial those can be?

Crk? I don’t even know why the fandom is so ass, but it is.

I’m just so tired of not knowing what to do about media going bad, TADC especially. I still love the series with all my heart, but after all the drama surrounding the finale and the cast, I feel like a bad person for liking it so much.

I even feel bad when I don’t fixate on something that a majority of people love, like those Disney shows (Owl house, Gravity Falls, Amphibia) or video games. I have friends who love those things, and talk about them all the time, even Alex does, and I don’t know what to talk about with them because I don’t feel connected to those mediums like they are. I’m sure those shows and those games are wonderful, but I just don’t feel the same way about them as you do, and I feel bad about it.
