“Now you will know the true happiness of a woman”, the lady murmured and laughed condescendingly.
“Time to put away your sword. And you simply cannot wear an armour in your condition, my lady!” someone piped in.
“What are you all talking about!” Sif snapped. “Why would I not wear my... armour...” As Sif looked down, she saw her belly obtruding, streching the straps on her armour piece to the maximum.
“No, nonono, this is not what you think...” Sif tried to object. How had this happened? How was it possible, and how had she not noticed before? Horror and embarrassment overwhelmed her, and she tired to break free from the circle of the courtiers surrounding her. But the stomach made her clumsy, and she was pinned tightly between to smiling women.
“Everyone knew you would come around eventually”, they hummed at her in unison. “It was just a matter of time...”
