6. i love picking just the precise word for what i am trying to say. like when something just slots into place and youβre like yes! i said that!Β and i love when a sentence or paragraph just unfurls as you go and youβre chasing after it knowing that itβs working out. pretty nice feeling π
16. my editing process is barely existent! i give it a cursory read for any glaring mistakes and hope for the best π which usually means i am editing it again once itβs already on ao3. whoops! but i am taking this next fic a lot more seriously so i think i will take my time editing it.Β
17. i step away for a little while (sometimes weeks... again, whoops) and give my brain a rest. if itβs a quick break, iβll listen to some music, have a snack, and/or take a brief walk. sometimes i read something that i admire to get the inspiration back!Β
20. urrmmmm... this is hard. i think i write introspection well. my writing tends to be a little flowery, but i think itβs pretty sometimes. iβm much, much better at the internal monologue than dialogue. like i said the other day, i got 2k words into the new tomato fic before realizing that no one had spoken yet π£ so itβs been a fun adventure to sprinkle that in.
