“They’re coming this way!” V hissed. “Move, move!”They both rushed back to the toilets. V opened a cleaning cupboard and gestured for H to get inside. “Stay inside.”H frowned but they didn’t have the time to argue. V pushed them in and shut the door.

Now they could finally drop the act. Villain went to one of the stalls and shut the door, then they typed in another message. Go. Bring a camera.Villain pocketed the device again as the main door crashed open. Footsteps sounded and then they were pounding on the door. “Open up!”

Villain simply rolled their eyes and smirked; it was time to act frightened.

“O.okay, okay, just go easy… please.” Villain slid the door open and stepped back ready for Henchman slamming the door open.“Hey, easy. Please, I. I’m not gonna do anything. Don’t hurt me.”“Empty your pockets!”Villain did actually hand over their communicator. Henchman was surprised to see it. Villain gestured for them to continue.

They took Villain by the arm and took them out of the room. Villain looked behind them to see one of the other Henchman hiding a small camera on the very bottom of the sinks so it could see H if they were to come out looking like Hero. But Villain didn’t get to see any more, they were escorted out. Henchman lightly pushed them against one of the walls and tied their hands together with a zip tie.

“Punch me. Don’t go easy on me,” Villain whispered. “Make it convincing.”Henchman frowned but they knew not to argue. Villain shouted, “Who the hell do you think you are? Get your hands off me!” Henchman took that as their queue to hit them hard in the face, and it burst their nose instantly. Villain hissed but gave them a thumbs up. “Get [Civilian]’s phone. It has important footage on it, of me.”

With that, Henchman bundled them into the main area, where a few civilians were cowering in fear, all but Civilian, who was protesting at the robbers even going close to their phone and other devices. It was years worth of work, and Villain was sad to see the day where they had to confiscate it but there was no other choice.

Villain, now V again, was shoved down beside Civilian. “Don’t move!”V kept their attention on Civilian, unable to stop their Henchman from taking the items by force and when Civilian tried to cling to their phone, babbling about how important it was, they were struck in the face with a sharp backhanded slap.

“It’s okay. Just. Just let it go, it’s not worth it,” V begged, shuffling in a false bid to get in front of them. That was more of a sign for the Henchmen to back off, that they had what they needed. For the sake of good measure, V’s men began to empty the till.

“You know that stealing is bad,” Hero suddenly announced from the door Villain, V, had just left from.V beamed in seeing them in the flesh, but that was more because finally, there was the greatest chance ever of knowing their identity. But for the sake of hiding their own identity, they hid their excitement behind relief.

The Henchman ran off quickly, and Hero made to follow. Villain couldn’t allow that to happen, so they tried to stand up, only to deliberately fall and feign fainting.

“[V]!” Civilian exclaimed.

Hero stopped at the door and turned to look back. They didn’t hesitate in returning to V’s side.

“What’s wrong? What happened?”“They must’ve gotten hit before- they weren’t with the rest of us.”Villain sluggishly opened their eyes a crack, then jolted as though they remembered the danger. “Hey, hey, it’s okay. You’re safe. Keep still, help will be here soon.”

V nodded and leaned into Civilian’s side.“This is all my fault,” Civilian realised.“Why would you think that?” Hero all skew with a frown.“My phone, they must have come for my phone. I had footage which showed [Villain]’s face, but I couldn’t make out who was on it.”

“It’s okay, stay here. I’m going to see if I can find them. Everyone look after each other until the Police get here.”

I was tagged by @helgship and @alsogolden-ana awhile back for this challenge (by @wickedica , layout by @lavellanpls ) and lemme just say it took me a while to decide bc i have classes and its HARD to pick sjsksks (also no jacob yet, bc it already took me 5 hours just for her dhjdjmms)
