Mt Omuro, a dormant volcano in the east of the Izu Peninsula, is a must see place if you are in Shizuoka Prefecture. You are able to ride a lift to the top and walk around the crater. We were fortunate to go there on a sunny day. From the top, we noticed what looked like igloos.
