peace & quiet ;
sometimes she enjoyed being in the midst of the community, watching everyone else around her go about her lives. of course, with faeries, she felt normal. her eyes never betrayed her curiosity. she simply stared most of the time and never long enough to be caught. but today, she was simply sitting at a fountain, reading her book calmly in the midst of the moving bodies of the realm.
she would do this often, as her own terms of “indulging” in wanting to be around others without actually having to socialise with them. although conversations weren’t necessarily unwelcome, momo just didn’t have much to give in a conversation. therefore, she simply avoided them or seemed to uninterested to the other party. she doesn’t do much and she’s sure she’d be ridiculed for her indulgence in human culture. that is, unless that faery was amber.
amber didn’t get the hint that momo was reclusive. or did, rather, and preferred to get her to be more active and social. there was more than one occasion that momo would consider cursing and walking away from the other but that would be considered rude. the last tagline she needed on top of being stoic and standoffish was being a bitch. so even at times like this when she is reading peacefully by the fountain, she won’t turn anyone away.
not even someone as exhausting as amber.
