Join me tonight as I draft probably my favorite set from this year! My fave is on the splash art, and it's time to meet some DRAGONS. Let's hang out, chill, and draft! Chat up a storm and harass me with the soundboard, whatever you feel like!

I have started a project recently. With some help, I’ll be making an entire 260 card magic set, set in the world of my DnD campaign: Swords Dance.

With a city and a hero to represent each colour, we move our way from the plains of Alreicht to the Icy mountains of Spirevale. From frost to fire, Rueforge awaits with burning heart. Still on the horizon lies Dragonbolt, a city of a million dreams, and southward from it, the silver ringed city of eternal night, Illum.

Heroes

With a new type of double faced cards, meet the old heroes, ensouled once more. A legendary party trapped, and now you have the chance to let their spirits return-

Starting with the leader, and also White: Venza, the rogue. He is representing here the flightiness and sneakiness of the colour, bringing mistrust to the table.

In Blue you’ll meet the great archmage Vel, an elegant weaver of magic. She represents here the change and pliability of magic, and the raw power that can be offered by it.

Black brings with it death: Maya the warlock is here to bring some balance to the scales. She represents death in the cycle of everything, the balance between what is and isn’t

With Green comes the steadfast soldier Anzu. With a sword raises high, he represents the might of nature, and the forever lasting spirit of life.

And last, but not least, is Maeko- a ruthless barbarian boasting Red. Representing fire and strength, bravery and courage, she’s here to fight till the end.

Plans

Currently this set is in the planning stage, but you can expect semi-regular updates.

First, cards themselves will be sorted- we’re starting with commons and uncommons, and working our way towards Rares and Mythics as we gain experience with this.

After the cards are mechanically finished, there will be a playtesting stage to see if anything needs altering or reworking before moving on.

If this passes without issue, the next phase will be the card art. The main problem here is that the people helping me with this is very sparse of artists :/ so! If you’re interested in drawing for this project, please shoot me a DM!
