Mount Logan Morning by Dave Brosha Via Flickr: As long as I can remember I've been fascinated with Mount Logan. Canada's tallest mountain (and the largest mountain in the world from a circumference perspective) is in Kluane National Park in the Yukon but it's not viewable from any road. I've been to Kluane five times before in my life, but have never seen this formidable mountain, until this morning. A 4AM start to the day saw Paul Zizka Photography and I waiting at an airstrip at 4:40AM. We weren't sure of the best time to fly through the incredible mountain range but we had a hunch we'd hit good light. It was better than we could have imagined, shifting from pastel colours to dramatic moodiness and then, finally, light through all the valleys and spilling onto all the glaciers. Truly one of the most incredible mornings of my life. Here's Mount Logan (look for the highest). A huge thanks to John from Rocking Star Adventures for being a patience and great pilot.

Finally, a new photo! This was taken while the wildflower bouquets of the North Cascades were at their best last summer. In the distance, 9,087 ft Mt Logan can be seen partially obscured by fog at sunset.
