And just to context that last photo, here is Mt Gower (the one inside the cloud deck) seen from the north end of the Island across the main lagoon. The Providence Petrel pic was taken about half way down that gap between Mt Lidgbird and Mt Gower from the cloud leven

A providence Petrel ( Pterodroma solandri) on the side of Mt Gower on Lord Howe Island. Mt Gower on Lord Howe is one of only two nesting sites in the world for this species.
