Maharashtra Science Talent Search exam is another unique initiative by FIITJEE to unravel the hidden talents. To support these talented minds FIITJEE will also help them financially by providing free coaching.

Based on their performance in MSTSE, Students will get to know their Rank Potential Index (RPI) for JEE Advanced which will help them know what they can achieve & bridge the gap between desire and aspiration. Students will also get suggestions to plug loopholes so that they can plan their study schedule and improve upon their shortcomings to perform to their optimum on the exam day.

A Total of 1050 Students (350 each for Class VIII, IX and X): Out of these 350 Students in each class, 250 for FIITJEE Centres in Greater Mumbai (Andheri, Chembur, Kandivali, Navi Mumbai & Thane), 50 for FIITJEE Nagpur Centre & 50 for FIITJEE Pune Centre - will be selected through MSTSE-2014 Exam. 

20% of seats will be reserved for Students studying in Marathi Medium Schools These Students will get a Certificate of Achievement and will also get online doubt removal support to help them in their preparation, even without joining FIITJEE Program.

To further support these 1050 meritorious Students, FIITJEE has decided to give 100% Fee waivers on Tuition Fee for FIITJEE Programs. Students will have to pay applicable Program Fee in case of joining Two Year Classroom Program for IIT-JEE, 2016, Three Year Classroom Program for IIT-JEE, 2017 & Four Year Classroom Program for IIT-JEE, 2018. In case of joining PINNACLE - Two Year Integrated School Program for IIT-JEE, 2016 Students will have to pay discounted School Fee in addition to the applicable Program Fee. They will also get Hostel fee concession upto 100%. Selection of Students will be based on their performance and subject to scoring above a minimum cut-off marks in each subject. Based on the total marks scored in the exam, a common merit list will be prepared. Those Students who do not clear the total cut-off marks and individual subject cut-off marks in the exam will not qualify for the Final Merit List.

It is apparent that Top Students will be getting adequate support (Waivers on Tution Fee) for joining FIITJEE Program for IIT-JEE / Other Competitive entrance exams preparation.

Exam Date : Sunday, 30th March, 2014 Last Date to Register (in Person) : Wednesday, 26th March, 2014 Last Date to Register (by Post /Courier) : Saturday, 22nd March, 2014 Result Declaration Date for Class X : Wednesday, 9th April, 2014 Result Declaration Date for Class VII & IX : Thursday, 10th April, 2014 Result will be available at http://mstse.fiitjee.com 4:00 pm onwards. Last Date to enroll in FIITJEE Program : Sunday, 27th April, 2014

Fee for Exam: NIL

Exam Schedule & Pattern:

Combined Objective Paper of IQ + Science & Maths from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm

Actual duration for answering the Paper will be 3 hours. First 30 minutes will be provided for filling up the information on the OMR answer sheet and for reading the examination instructions. Test paper will be in English as well as in Marathi language. Student can opt for Paper in the language of his / her choice.

In and around Mumbai: Andheri, Chembur, Kandivali, Navi Mumbai, Sion, Thane, Jalgaon, Kalyan, Tarapur (Boisar) & Nasik

In and around Nagpur: Nagpur, Akola, Amaravati, Chandrapur, Wardha & Bhandara

In and around Pune: Pune, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Jalna, Latur, Lonavala, Kolhapur, Osmanabad, Sangli, Solapur & Wai

Note:

Students appearing in the Maharashtra Science Talent Search Exam - 2014 at the Test Centre locations mentioned above and sending the Application Form for registration by Post / Courier are advised to send their Paper Application Forms to the above mentioned respective Controlling FIITJEE Centre only. 

Students sending the Application Form to register for Kalyan, Tarapur & Nasik Test Centres are advised to send it to Mumbai (Chembur) Centre only. 

FIITJEE will not be responsible for any transit loss of Paper Application Form, if any Student does not follow these guidelines

How to Register:

Fill in your complete details in the Application Form mentioning test centre, preference of language of test paper, study centre & program along with the two passport size colour photographs and submit it to the controlling FIITJEE centre.

Registration is open at FIITJEE Centres viz. Mumbai (Andheri, Chembur, Kandivali, Navi Mumbai & Thane), Nagpur & Pune centres.
