life gets so much easier when you realize that nothin' really matter. whatever you're stressin' out about doesn't matter, for it'll pass. whatever is holdin' you back doesn't matter, for it'll pass. the anguish and woe that brings you down for the time being doesn't matter, for it'll pass as well.
nothin' matters enough to sulk in negativity and become miserable because of it when you can let go of what's keepin' you from reachin' your true potential.
nobody really talks about how hard it actually is to live on like everything is okay after such a traumatic experience. my entire perception of literally everything is so distorted in the most negative way possible. it affects my everyday life in ways that would take days to put in words. all i can do is pray, change for the better, and let all wounds heal with time.
for so long, i was wonderin' why i couldn't reach my goal of growin', whether it was spiritually, mentally, etc., and the entire time, it was the one closest to me that held me back completely. it's crazy how much the people you love most can hinder you from bein' the best version of yourself.
