Here are some pro-tips and information to help make your weekend at MSMFest the greatest!

General:

-Please respect everyone at all times

-Festival grounds open at 12pm Friday and 10am Saturday & Sunday

-There will be ZERO tolerance of drugs, alcohol, violence, or firearms at the festival.  Alcohol is prohibited by law in the parks of the city of Morristown, and there will be regular police surveillance.  Please do not make this difficult for us.

-This is a RAIN OR SHINE event.  All of the stages are covered, so as long as you are at a stage you will not get wet.

-Please dispose of all trash in one of the many trash receptacles located around the park.  The park is a beautiful space and we’d love to keep it that way and continue to be able to use it!

-Campfires are prohibited

-Be aware there is no ATM on site!  We will be accepting cards for tickets and official MSMFest merchandise, but not everyone does.

-Please do not drive on the grass, except in the designated parking areas.  

-Unfortunately, we will not be able to allow pets.

First Aid and Safety:

Please keep yourself hydrated and bring sunblock!  There is a water fountain on site as well as bottled water for sale.  If you start to feel dizzy or weak, seek a friend and some shade until you feel better, don’t overdo it!

If you become injured or sick, please visit the MSMFest table in the middle of the park or seek out a volunteer (identifiable by bright neon MSMFest shirts).  We will have a first aid kit on hand and assist you as best we can.

Parking:

Please carpool to the event if at all possible!  There is parking on site but we expect a great volume of vehicles to park in a limited space so we will need as much cooperation as possible.  Please follow the directions of the staff and be sure to lock your vehicles.  MSMFest is not responsible for any lost or stolen property.

Camping:

MSMFest is a free camping event.  Campers under the age of 18 will either need to be accompanied by an adult OR have a signed permission slip.  Please email [email protected] for a copy of the permission slip!

Bring your own tent and supplies.  Pop-up campers are also allowable, however we simply do not have room for a full size camper on site.  You are also welcome to sleep in your vehicle!

CAMPFIRES ARE PROHIBITED. Digging or trenching is also prohibited.  This is a city park and we need to keep it in as best shape as possible!  

There are full restroom facilities as well as port-a-potties on site.  There are also grills on site which anyone can use (you will need to provide the charcoal).  There is limited electricity available in the camping areas, so be prepared for that.  Please be respectful of your neighbors.

Food:

We will have food and beverages available for purchase from Sister’s Pizza Shop, Karma Kitchen, and Crazy Dave’s Dogs, including vegetarian and vegan options.  There is also a water fountain on site.  You are welcome to bring any food or (nonalcoholic) beverages of your own, just please make sure you clean up after yourself so we don’t get critters!

Things We Recommend to Bring:

-Water Bottle

-Sunscreen

-Cool Shades

-Poncho (just in case)

-A Watch (your cell phone will die, then how will you know when your bands are jamming?)

-Bug Spray

-Flashlight or Electric Lantern (it gets suuper dark at night!)

-Snacks

-A positive attitude

-Earplugs

-Layered clothing.  It sometimes gets chilly at night!  Bring a hoodie or an extra blanket you can bundle up in.

Print em out and plan for all the sick bands you’re gonna see next weekend!
