It is the pathway of a champion. Sweating, working out, never giving up. Fighting your way up through the ranks against the odds and those who say you will never win. And yet you do because you have the heart of a champion. And winning is not always found in the ring. Mostly it is found at the end of the day when you collapse, utterly spent from pounding out the bags and your sparring partner and working out and then doing it all over again until the moves are second only to breathing. Is it worth it? It is when you finish a bout, loosing by points...and having a little girl comes up and looking you in the eye tells you that you are her hero. Not everyone is going to be a ballerina or gymnast or super model...some of them...maybe just one...might follow your footstep and become a great boxer!
