#ms. madd

Chapter 4 of the funeral fic is now up!! Focused on Maddy's worst funeral, oh boy. You ever had to go to a funeral for someone you didn't know very well (or maybe even outright hated), but you still had to pretend to be sad for them for the sake of other people? It's kinda like that.

New fic time? New fic time!! :D

Admittedly this is something I had ready and finished near the start of the year, basically just putting it in my backlog to post later in the year. And now it's later in the year, so time to starting posting it!! Might as well, while I continue my BRC fixation on the side. :P

This is gonna be a short one, only 6 chapters. It's following the timeline of the anime, and it's about the World Three quartet! Also funerals and bad family. Oh boy.

If you're interested, check out the first chapter here on AO3! I'm planning to post chapters every other week until it's fully posted. So then next chapter will be on May 25th, barring anything happening during that weekend that prevents me from posting at all. :u

Something different from the usual content I make, doing old anime female crushes for the people who wanted to see them sneezing.

Today's new Maddy and Match chapter comes with a content warning at the beginning. Nothing too graphic of course, but it is a fair warning for anyone who needs it. This chapter is overall about Maddy having a hard time, and Match helping her find a new way to deal with it (see the cover art :P ).

I'm sure you could convince Match to do nail painting like this as long as fire and fire patterns are involved, lol

AND SO BEGINS the posting of the last few chapters of my fic!! Like I said in the other post, I'm still hoping to get them posted within the year. ;o;

In this chapter, Maddy and Match go to a bookstore and have an important conversation. The topic is hinted at in the color of the books here! :>

HMM SO...

I've realized that at my usual pace of posting stuff (including basically taking a break starting in September to focus on Drawtober and Robot Rumpus and other things for the rest of the year), I would only be left with like 3 chapters of my Maddy and Match fan fic to post next year. I feel kinda bad about separating it out like that tbh.

Thus! I've decided I'm going to attempt (emphasize on attempt) to finish the cover arts and proofreading/fixing-up of the remaining chapters within the next few months, so then I can hopefully get them all posted within the year!!

These are some preview images of the cover arts, so at least on that front I have 4 out of 9 done. I have other stuff going on in the background, so I don't know if I'll have enough free time to get it all done. But, y'know, hopefully!! ;u;

Current plan is to hopefully have the next chapter posted this upcoming Saturday, and from there post 2 chapters a month until I'm done. So then ideally the whole fic will be online by the end of September!

If I can get the arts and proofreading done ahead of time, ideally it should give me enough time in September to do my usual Drawtober stuff. Will probably(?) post less art-intensive stuff in between the chapter postings, thankfully I have a few finished simple comics I could post for that. :u
