hm... in terms of incest, the reason why we as humans have that built-in disgust is to reduce the chances that alleles/genes of inherited diseases/defects will "pile on top of themselves" and emerge in our offspring. (hopefully i explained that right...) so, it depends on how closely you relate Patapons to us. not all species have the same genetic risks as we do when incest is involved—it doesn't really affect them, so they can inbreed all they want (such as seen on farms). i also headcanon that women are born very rarely, which would make incest much more likely to occur. biologically-speaking, if the goal is to procreate and sustain your family ties, then the issues surrounding incest would probably not exist in Patapons...probably.

on the other hand, cuckoldry is (comparatively, much more of) a social concept and its "effects" are determined by how one's society views it. again with my dumb headcanons—i view sex as much more casual and less romantically-linked within Patapon culture. it's treated as another way to celebrate and have fun beyond drinking and dancing, if that makes sense. just won a battle? cool! why not do a circlejerk with your friends to relieve the pain and tension? that kind of thing. not to say that jealousy would not occur whatsoever, that is. the context under which sexual acts happen is definitely important here.

Sonarchy/Covet-Hiss: Such a spoiled brat is always in need of punishment for one reason or another… he won’t even call his own mother by her new name! It’s always “Papa” and “Daddy” with him… no respect whatsoever! This simply can’t do. We have to tame this ridiculous behavior, but how? With nice, long breeding sessions where Sonarchy is forced to call out his Mama’s name a hundred times if he wants to stop being overstimulated, of course! Beetleton/Makoton: I don’t know about you, but I imagine Beetle to be a complete bastard, especially toward Mako. Hero/Kami: this one is in reference to the nightmare scene lol… I like to imagine that it’s actually Kami doing all of it…and that it’s a trauma flashback that actually did happen in the past… Every so often, Hero’s mind will force him to relive the entire experience. Every rip of his flesh and tendons, every heavy, painful sob, every thrust that forces through his torn and bleeding hole… It’s hell. Though, the little changes in routine every now and then have him wondering if it is a flashback… What if it’s actually happening every time? He’ll wake up in one piece the morning after—covered in sweat and tears, of course—but something always feels off. Like he’s being toyed with, and not just by his brain. He usually cuts off those thoughts before they can identify any sort of pattern by running to the training grounds and destroying a few dozen practice props to take the edge off.

Taterazay/Naughtyfins: i also ship this “normally” but my true…analysis(?) of the ship is super fuckin toxic and one-sided. which I meannn is kinda canon but hear me out. Tate clearly is iffy towards her and doesn’t want much to do with her because she’s gross and clingy or whatever. But she’s head-over-heels for him (the difference between him and everyone else is that she has actual feelings rather than just. archfiend-fueled lust. and I hc that she has some sort of deep, unidentified longing for him from her memories as Princess but she doesn’t understand them bc…her memories are gone, duh). Hero, on the other hand, never really had true romantic attachment to her before or after the amnesia. He just sees himself as the knight and her as the damsel in distress—it’s just an exchange that they have. So when she finally manages to “seduce” him, he ends up treating her like a rag and immediately runs off when he’s had his fill. She’s never felt like more of an object than in that moment. She sat alone in a stream scrubbing her body until it was numb for hours.

Meden/Kharma: in my (unfinished/unpublished) fic, Meden is celibate as part of her swear to Almighty as his priestess. Kharma helps her get over this silly little obsession by raping her—how kind! Meden then becomes hypersexual as a means of coping and because “she’s already ruined her life anyways”, something like that. No use in caring about her life or devotion now that she’s a tainted, sinful whore… Might as well give in to her carnal desires and become a useless sex object for all to gaze upon. She’s so stupid. Why didn’t she fight back?! Why didn’t she try harder to stop it? Why didn’t anyone help her…? (They were all too busy enjoying the show to care.)

I’m sure you could get a ton of use out of the Uberheroes too, but I haven’t personally thought about characterizations for them beyond Taterazay </3 except Tondenga who is absolutely a harasser/groper/rapist/whatever pleases you most
