Ok 911 Mpreg buddie headcanons you say?
AU - Buck joined the 118 a couple years earlier and he and Eddie had a one night stand when Eddie first moved to LA ok? Ok.
Little headcanons
(Buck gets informed that ex military guy Eddie Diaz is joining and itâs his first day)
Buck hears Chimney and a few of the other guys in shift greeting Eddie, LOUDLY. Chimney is NOT subtle, but Buck goes along with the plan because he is nothing if not dramatic. Heâs wearing a black tee, and standing directly in front of the steps, hands in his hips.
He sees Eddie for the first time in 6 months, jogging up the steps.
âHey Diaz! You left something behind the last time we saw each other!â Buck grins.
The new probie jolts at the top of the steps, stumbling back a little and grabbing the railing behind him, looking confused for a few seconds before his face splits into a grin.
âBuckley? Hey man!â Eddie straightens, and his eyes squint in what he probably thinks is a flirty look. âOh yeah? And what was that? My phone number?-â
âNope! This!â With that, Buck turns to the side. Heâd practiced this with Chimney and Hen, standing at a perfect angle where head on, nothing seemed a miss, then he turns to the side and BOOM! 6 month baby bump.
Eddieâs eyes are the size of milk saucers, his hands flying to cover his mouth, then making a grab for his hair, never holding still. He stumbled again, almost falling down the stairs, as he stutters out, âI-I? What? But? What.â
Buck takes pity on him in that moment, slumping forward a little, pushing the bump out a little more. He rubs the back of his head with one hand and holds out his other in a sign of peace.
âUh, yeah. See, I was on antibiotics when we hooked up, because a ladder truck fell on my leg-â Buck seemed to rethink his line of thought, before continuing. âAh, thatâs a long story. But turns out. Yeah. Birth control was null and void. And uh, youâre the only guy I slept with around that time. So. Congrats?â Buck awkwardly shrugged, throwing in some equally awkward jazz hands.
Eddie still sort of looked like a deer in headlights. His hands went to his hips, before he looked, once again, at the unmistakable bump between the othersâ hips. â6 months?â. Buck nodded. âWell. Shit.â
(Sorry I typed this in work real quick and I havenât written anything in years)
