[As Battat mentions Pluey taking a snooze, Em glances over at them, and considers it, almost agreeing until Battat looks at them with big ole pleading eyes.]

'Honestly? The VHS idea goes hard, but.. oh, damn it, Em! You're getting a soft spot for him! .. oh well. He's really cute when he's excited.', they think to themselves, sighing barely audibly.

[They shake their head to dismiss their thoughts, realizing they were staring. They grin awkwardly.]

Yeah, that sounds real cool actually. Let's hear it! What have ya figured out so far? [They tilt their head curiously, smiling softly and leaning against their palm on the table, genuinely interested!]

They also glance at Jongler and Pluey every so often to check how they're doing, but Em's mostly focused on Battat.]

Okay, so.. lemme get this straight. This supposed "Mike" guy, right? Are you sure he even exists? Are you sure folks aren't just playin' a trick on you? ... No, I don't think boss would do that. He's got too much on his plate. But, then... who...?

[Their brows furrow in thought and they purse their lips.]

See, THAT'S THE THING. We KNOW Mike is real cause I have seen things happen with my own two eyes. (Battat hits a spot in the wall that turns out to be a hidden button. The conspiracy board flips, revealing another board on the back, filled with even more pictures, notes and red string. He points at a group of pictures on the side, accompanied with some notes detailing what happened seconds before the shots were taken. The pictures are of various equipment that can easily be assumed to be from the Mike booth.)

Those pictures were taken by me, after i saw things just... MOVE ON THEIR OWN???? (He hits the pictures several times, then stops with a blank expression, realizing he can't really prove what he's saying) We uhm. Don't have access to a camera. To record it happening. BUT! IT DID AND DOES HAPPEN! A.. friend of mine. Is working on getting me a smartphone! Those can record! I'll have to hide it from Tenna, but, I'm good at hiding things from him, he's... A little oblivious about obvious things but... That's what makes him cute...

Oh! Nono, eheh, it's okay! Let me have the stool, 'f tha's alright? It's uh.. it's.. a little stool for a little fella! (They grin lopsidedly, trying to joke around while being considerate.)

Honestly the height seemed kinda odd. Gigglin' an awful lot too.. but I just figured it was 'cause of my jokes! (They continue to ramble, and as they pause to breathe, their smile drops with potential realization. They 'buffer' for a comically long moment.)

I was coffee kid for a while before someone caught be wearing headphones and chewed me out but that's when I managed to tell them that I'm a music producer and- (they talk almost too quickly to understand. They pause and stare at nothing, clapping their hands together and pursing their lips.)

(Battat Is sitting quietly, and looks quite calm, but eyes are windows to the soul, and his soul is going through many emotions right one, none of them reasonable or calm. He leans over to Jongler) Remind me to figure out who that was and kill them.

(Jongler doesn't respond, instead choosing to calm you a little) Don't worry, Em, while it does seem that whoever hired ya was pulling a prank on ya, we are happy to actually keep ya 'round.
