#moving help

Please help me and my gf move to Boston, MA when our lease ends in June! For our safety as trans people & for better healthcare for my mental health & disabilities.

Please donate if you have the means. We both do not have the financial support of our parents / families. I wouldn't ask if there were any other options but I am already doing as much as I can and it is not enough. It's embarrassing but I have to try because I need to get us out of here. I wish I knew how to start this, but I don't. So here goes nothing ^^'

After being born and raised here, and living in FL all 27 years of my life, I finally have the chance to leave. I can honestly no longer afford to live in my home state, and the culture shift that has taken place over the past five years has destroyed my love and safety for her as a visibly queer person. I am moving to Illinois with a very wonderful friend, and will officially be out of state on July 21st!

The cost to move things, however, has been astronomical. Ironically doing the pod method was cheaper than a truck, but it is still... yowza!

I feel very guilty asking for help over what is objectively a good thing for me, but with my work hours being cut, my credit card bills being very high after struggling through 6 months of unemployment, and me getting run off the road on my scooter and breaking it which I was going to try and sell for some cash... really put a dent in my ability to save up.

Any money I get from this will go straight to my uhaul payment, and any money after will go to my half of rent and the security deposit. I do have a job lined up when I get to Illinois but this bill needs to be paid before then. We will be doing a meandery road trip to get up to Illinois to buy time for my stuff to arrive, but we will be keeping it cheap as we can, and none of the money I get from this will go to that. Only essentials.

Hey peeps, its official- my partner and I are making arrangements to move to Oregon and get the hell out of Utah.

The legislation here surrounding trans rights is getting worse and worse as time goes on. We just don't feel safe here anymore, and want to move somewhere a little more comfortable.

Additionally, I would love the opportunity to go to school in person, and have more job opportunities in the fields I want to go into.

We're struggling to keep afloat financially right now, so any assistance we can get with moving costs would be amazing. In the meantime, we're seeking what resources we can.

Long story short: Our apartment has been flooding from a bathroom sink backflow and the management has delayed fixing it, to the point it's now so bad they need us to move apartments. While this is not an eviction, both my mother and myself are disabled and have trouble walking, lifting heavy items and sometimes even just standing. The help the office is offering will not be available for the whole move as it's the maintance team, and we severely lack a nearby and local support system to help us. So we will need help with movers, a moving truck for the bigger items, and we are also asking for help with a deposit to a bigger unit still in our budget as the apartment they're moving us into is too small to accomedate us with our disabilities and it being 3 of is (my mom, me and my child). We are also asking for help through this fund for a moving truck and movers to help clear our storage unit which is eating into our budget as they keep jacking the price up (this would be after we get into a bigger unit) and help getting money for our own vehicle as we have been without a car for almost a year now and since all 3 of us need to see doctors and we have many errands we need to do out of the house it isn't possible to efficiently or safely get them all done in the time needed with our mobility disabilities and current resources.

Help with this is allow us to keep the traction and stability we've been working towards for years, and prevent us from losing it.

Because of the amount I'm asking for help with I figured a GoFundMe would make people more comfortable, however if you're not a fan of GoFundMe I am also posting my cash tags.

We are doing everything we can on our end to work on this, however, with the time constraints put on this we will not be able to get any portion of this in the time we need, and any progress we are making is extremely slow, and with how fast things are changing I am not confident we can get the amount we need before something else falls on our heads.
