Because I can't resist a dumb high concept, imagine each chapter printed on a card from a standard deck of cards. Imagine shuffling it and reading chapters at random. The thought of it amuses me greatly.

I live in New England. A lot of the place-names go back to English sources and make credible names for the time, and then I have the added entertainment of having picked things slightly significant to me.

Prose Editors! So there has apparently been changes going on. Whatever. No editor is created equal, so ancient editors who have accumulated mass followings apparently have more "weight" to throw around. Which means that their featured posts tend to garner more notes because they can reblog the stuff they feature on their blogs and reach more people. This somehow affects their editor rankings and whether or not someone retains editorship or something. I really should do more research before posting stuff like this. So I guess the moral of the story is: If you like what a certain editor features or how they operate then you should a) follow that editor, b) heart and reblog what that editor features, and 3) support them in any way you can. Here is a list of prose editors I follow (I followed them before they were editors). I didn't realize that burning-muse and ink-slinger12 were prose editors until I checked right now. I thought ink-slinger12 was a poetry blog? So here are my list of prose editors that you should follow, heart, and reblog, because change is good and good change needs to be supported and something something.
