As the name suggests, All Mountain skiing is made for all types of terrain encountered in the mountains. It is also sometimes referred to as "Ski Polyvalent" or "All Terrain." With this type of skiing, you have the mixing outings: piste, off-piste, edge of piste and even snowpark. So, no restrictions when you go to the resort! 

The secret of this versatility?

The different types of All Mountain skiing

The first feature to take into account is the width to the ski's skate. If you want a piste ski that can allow you to go out from time to time on the edge of the piste and off piste. We recommend that you choose a ski between 80 and 95 cm wide. If on the contrary you want a very handy ski off-piste but still pleasant to ride on groomed slopes. Skis with a skate width of 90 to 105 cm are for you.

Then all you have to do is choose the size of your skis. To do this, you first need to know what type of skiers you are. For a so-called "managed" skier, spending his time on the blue/red slopes and hurtling down the edges of the slopes, choose a ski 5 cm smaller than you. "Confirmed" skiers, able to safely descend all the slopes and go off-piste, can choose skis of their size. Finally, for "expert" skiers for whom skiing is more than a passion, and who want versatile but spirited equipment. Skis 5 cm larger than their size will be perfect.
