Mountain Boy picked me up at 6:30 and we went to dinner and we split a dessert 🍨 (super cute ngl), and we were there until like 8:30. And THEN we went to a park and just sat in the car and talked for a few hours (just got home) about all kinds of stuff

But it was SO nice getting to see him twice this week. We started dating dating a few weeks ago now, but both of our Septembers are *packed* so we’ve just been squeezing in nights like this when we can. And like. Idk I just like hanging out with him and talking and stuff. ALSO his adhd was in full swing today so it was really fun the conversations just kept jumping from topic to topic and he had MASSIVE golden retriever energy tonight. And he is tempted to buy some full plate armor too lol

We pick up from our last story, where Celestia and Luna got ENGAGED!! Now, we have a DOUBLE ROYAL WEDDING!

After many months of preparation, the new city of Canterlot was formed as a new metropolitan center of Ponyland. King Majesty proclaimed that the Dream Castle will still be the home of the royal family and will hold royal meetings and power, but the new modern era will need a full city and metropolitan area! So, Celestia and Luna, as well as their fiancés Ice Crystal and Sunburst, will all live in the newly constructed Canterlot Castle!

This was a major event, as not only was it a grand opening ceremony of a new castle and royal city, it was also a DOUBLE royal wedding, and on top of that, a crowning of two new princes!!

Celestia and Luna chose their bridesmaids, and Ice Crystal and Sunburst had the rest of the mountain boys (and Shining Armor for Princess Cadence!). Maybe there will be new romances blooming from this?

Anyways, the day couldn’t have been more perfect. The Princesses had beautiful new dresses, the princes new beautiful capes and crowns, and their grandfather, Re Unicorno, would be the ordained minister! What could possibly go wrong?

BOTH parents (I want this to happen to me in real life one day!) walked the princesses down the aisle, up to the very nervous mountain boys that would soon be their new husbands. 

Then, Re Unicorno spoke,  “It is a grand and glorious day for the future of the royal family, and the rest of Ponyland! We welcome the beautiful princesses, and future queens, to wed the proud and hard working mountain boys. Please join me in this grand blessing of their union, and the start of a new castle and royal city, which will provide safety and comfort to all the land”.

“When my son, King Majesty, wed the Queen of the pegasi, Queen Tiffany, that ended the long feud between the pegasi and unicorns, and formed a grand and peaceful union after years of war. Now, with this marriage, earth ponies and alicorns alike will be joined, just as my son had always envisioned. We should, no matter what, value love and peace above all. No matter our backgrounds or what we look like, we are all ponies, and deserve love and understanding”.

“With that being said, are their any objections of Celestia and Sunburst, and Luna and Ice Crystal’s union, and therefore crowning as crown princesses and princes?” 

There were a couple of laughs from the crowd. Who could ever want to challenge this beautiful union? 

HOWEVER!! A grand voice shouted from the audience! “I OBJECT!!”. A purple and blue unicorn galloped to the front of the crowd, just at the bottom of the grand staircase. 

“I, Prince Sapphire, do object! I have been betrothed to the future Queen Luna, by Re Unicorno himself!”

Not only were the princesses outraged, but also quite confused!

King Majesty stated, “Father, what is going on here?”

Re Unicorno was so embarrassed! “Um....when I was away on my royal journey, I met Prince Sapphire in a small island of unicorns, far away. Of course, I didn’t know of Luna and Ice Crystal’s courtship! So, we got to talking, and I invited him to Ponyland to meet you. Well...guess I messed up big time!”.

They all had a good laugh, and Prince Sapphire sheepishly disappeared to the back of the crowd.

Re Unicorno continued, “Well, after that um...surprise introduction, I present to you, the new Crown Princess Celestia and Crown Prince Sunburst, and Crown Princess Luna and Crown Prince Ice Crystal! You may now kiss the bride, and welcome your new future rulers!”

The Yamabiko is a monkey-like Yokai found in the mountains of Japan. The Yamabiko is described as a monkey-like creature with dog-like features and is usually depicted brown fur. The Yamabiko is said to repeat and mimic people’s voices usually in a different tone or pitch trying to make it sound like an echo. It can echo any noise and is sometimes even heard screaming in the forest at night. The Yamabiko’s name means “Mountain Boy”.
