Greetings, everybody. Got something to talk about. At the end of Undertale, one question still remains: what happens to the monsters when they get to the surface? It's something we've all probably thought about at some point, but the problem is that a lot of people overlook many modern issues and what the political repercussions would be of such a drastic event in world history in favor of their own idealism. While I do believe that there are many good people out there who would help out, there are also an even larger amount of people who would attempt to take advantage of the innocence of monsterkind for their own benefit. Luckily for you, I'm here to help with that. From here onwards, I'll be doing realistic scenarios of the world a certain number of years after the emergence of monsters from the Underground, accompanied by a map with footnotes. Which ones I'll do is up to you guys. Just send a request into my askbox (or, if it gets really long, submissions box), and I'll make a scenario and map for you. Don't worry about payment, I'm doing this all for free. (If you want to pay people for commissions, I suggest finding artists who've been affected by Hurricane Irma or family issues. They need the money much more than I do.) Rules: THE SURFACE -I'll do a scenario with monsters emerging at any point after the year 1900. Any earlier, and the unlikelihood of monsters being able to reverse-engineer robots and lasers, among other things, from fallen human tech just becomes ridiculous. -I'm willing to do scenarios which are set in the future, but keep in mind that I can't perfectly predict what the future will be like. -Additionally, I'd be perfectly happy to do a scenario involving the Surface being that of an alternative history or timeline. (Ex. Fallout, Fatherland, Timeline-191, etc.) Just be aware that, if there are not canon maps of the entire world available, I will likely end up using my own interpretation. THE UNDERGROUND -Asides from using the Underground of a pacifist run, feel free to select that of any AU (except Underlust and its comrades) and I'll be just as willing to do it. However, in scenarios where the AU isn't complete yet (such as Inverted Fate) or has been rebooted (such as Storyshift), I'll be forced to do some guesswork as to the future of the AU. -I refuse to do any scenarios involving AUs containing NSFW, pedophilia, or basically anything else that's just wrong. -You can choose where you'd like Mount Ebbot to be, since its location will affect everything, but no sticking it in locations too far away from where a relatively large mountain couldn't feasibly be located. GENERAL -If you have any specific, minor changes you'd like made to the Underground or Surface, I'm willing to make them, but keep in mind that whether one person lives or dies can affect a great deal more than you might think. -Asides from what's been listed above, I'm also willing to do "directed scenarios" where, instead of picking a location and timeline and working from there, I'll use an AU which extends onto the Surface and work to make a world that could lead to that point instead. -Please specify how many years after the emergence of monsters you want the scenario to be set. -Please include how realistic and how light or dark you want the scenario to be. -I'm willing to do maps for your fanfictions or AUs, but keep in mind that I'll show no reservation to debate points I find unrealistic about the Surface. -If you want me to do a scenario involving an AU I know little to nothing about, I'll probably need some time to research it in order to not miss any crucial details. -Even if you try to pay me, I won't include your Mary Sue self-insert or crack ships, so don't bother trying to make me. Edits may be made to the above rules if suggestions lead me to realize I wasn't specific enough. The askbox is open and waiting for your requests.
