Posting my fanart here for the first time, inspired by: Boy With Luv - BTS (ft. Halsey).

Of course I'd seen the video multiple times, but I guess one time when I saw it I was feeling inspired to paint. I'm a beginner, I don't have any training and I'm still honestly learning how to hold/use brushes properly. Also I'm using acrylic paint and have no idea what difference that makes, but it seems good so far.

I drew the outline with a pencil where I combined the two scenes shown above- skyline from second and the river, sidewalk from the first. Also took some creative liberties. I didn't feel like I had the skills to draw the BTS members so I only stuck with the background- anyway it was so beautiful that I didn't mind. The colours are so lovely, the stars in the sky are brilliant. I love this entire colour palette and enjoyed getting to them (I have 6 basic colours of red, black, white, green, yellow, and blue which I mixed and matched to paint).

BTS videos are works of art, every frame is so unique and beautiful. The colours, even the angles/dance/costume/makeup of the members is extremely pleasing to the senses. Massive love and respect for their art directors, stylists, and the entire crew that make them come to life. I hope to be able to do justice to them one day, and create better paintings of their scenes. But a start is a start and you learn.

P.s.- I love the scene after this where J-Hope swings on the lamppost. That, for me, captured the entire vibe of the song and of being in love :)
