Hello, this blog covers smaller, sometimes simpler, animatronics (I don't know if there's a proper term for them, but I usually see them called "animated figurines", Gemmy's stuff comes to mind) as well, yes? If so, is there any info/videos/pics about the Noel holiday figures? Like at least what company made them? They have the big chunky bases with "Noel" on a small gold-ish mantle on the front. I only found some ebay listings and a few old YT vids. My mom has two of them, a Santa with a sack of presents, and a blonde girl in a dark old-fashioned winter coat with a candle (I think, it's been years since my mom took them out of storage.) There's apparently a whole bunch of different kids with candles i seen on ebay, I haven't found a match of the girl yet tho, but I did find at least find one video of the Santa. The only other info I have of them is that I think they were made in the 90s? I could be wrong.
I LOVE Gemmy/animated items! We haven't covered a ton, but I'd really love to showcase some of my favorites someday.
The ones you're talking about are by Holiday Creations during the 90s, and those types of animatronics are typically referred to as "motionettes". There's all kinds of them! My family had an angel motionette, but I'm unsure of what company made them.

Vintage 1992 Telco Creature motionettes
Creature from the Black Lagoon
Wolfman
Frankenstein’s monster
Here are a few of my favorite motionettes.
The first one is the Telco clown party figure. His nose glows and he plays happy birthday music.
The next two are Easter themed Telco small fry motionettes. They don’t play music or anything but they’re super cute!
Early Christmas present from a buddy of mine.

Glad to have another Small Fry in my collection, they're so cute
Hello, welcome to my blog!
My name is LuChina and I have been collecting holiday animatronics and motionettes since 2017. I post about them on instagram as well (anihcul) but I wanted to have a more organized place solely dedicated to showing my collection and reblogging other posts about motionettes. I’ll also post about larger animatronics that I’ve seen occasionally.
I used to be @motionettes but I lost access to the account. I wanted to restart my blog anyway though.
To start off, here’s a picture of my collection from 2 years ago! (I realize it looks kind of crowded and that’s because I tried to fit them all on the same table, now they’re more spread out.)
Also, I’m going to start out by posting some old photos and videos because majority of my collection is in a different state than me right now. So sorry if the quality of some of them isn’t the greatest. When I go back to Michigan I’m going to take better ones.
