Overall an interesting concept, but I'm not sure that they've quite executed it (not that I've read every book here, simply skimmed through very quickly.) Some of the choices for audio were odd, like choosing to add a track for background noise of a crowd, but when character dialog bubbles came up there was no voice acting, I suppose because that would require more effort.
Also I'm not entirely sure how I feel about blurring the line between animation and comic books. On the one hand it's exciting new territory that could make for excellent new stories. On the other, it could receive the downfalls of all and none of the benefits of the other. Will these Motionbooks become talking heads like Tales of Symphonia (or related games) cutscenes? How will they deal with action scenes?
I did have an idea to make sequential art using a string of GIFS, but of course GIFS don't have sound. With audio, the medium could really change. My question is... for the better?
